Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Sean Rhyan has been suspended six games for violating the league's performance-enhancing substance policy.

The least he could have done was perform using those performance enhancers.
Why do I feel like the season is over?
He will be good to go in the Play Offs !!!!
Who would've thought GoLoR was considered 'performance enhancing".
Third round represents!
Bio sounds like a kid that does not really care that much for football. Of course Gute probably knows better
do we get our draft pick back?

A third rounder? No thanks.
Super

Maybe it was the sauce on his chicken wings.
Another of Gutes 3rd rounders making healines in less than a month, first Amari Rodgers now this slug
Played one special teams snap this year. The third-round curse continues.
Larger issue is Gutey's overall draft record simply hasn't been good enough.

He would be better served using a dart board to make the picks in that round.
Or asking us. Anything but what he's been doing.
Has Rhyan ever played a down, for us? If memory serves me, he wasn't even in the conversation of who to play, on the right side of the OL.
One ST play from what I'm understanding.
I'm not up on the rules regarding PEDs, but doesn't a player have to test positive multiple times to get a 6 game suspension or am I thinking of something else?
Something seems "amiss" with him. He was First Team All Pac 10 at left tackle and was never even in the conversation to get playing time on an o-line that was in disarray early in the season?

One! He has played ONE STINKINβ special teams snap all season
This season sure has been a shit sandwich!
Rhyan was very underwhelming in TC as noted by several observers watching him this summer (Andy Herman, Matt Schneidman, etc). Which surprised many because the consensus was that this was a very good pick at the time and the other Gute warts aside, he and that FO has usually been very good at finding OL.
Still early, but ya, it looks like the Packers should just trade out of the 3rd...
Brian Gutekunstβs third-round picks:
β Matt Schneidman (@mattschneidman) November 25, 2022
2018: Oren Burks, San Francisco 49er
2019: Jace Sternberger, free agent
2020: Josiah Deguara
2021: Amari Rodgers, Houston Texan
2022: Sean Rhyan, suspended 6 games

Yep. What Gute and his scouts did was excel in evaluating NFL talent. Getting the Smith bros., Amos, Campbell, etc. was the talent shot in the arm this team needed. But he canβt do that sort of signing anymore thanks to the cap mess they are in.
The crappy drafting didnβt hurt them immediately but they are suffering due to those mistakes now.
Back when Packer football was fun!

They need to treat the 3rd round like many buildings treat the 13th floor.
No offense, but who really gives a shit? Seriously.

Crappy drafting begets one of two things:
1. Needing to sign more expensive free agents to make up for the crappy drafting.
2. A shitty team.
If Thompson takes TJ Watt, at least one of the Smith contracts wasn't needed. It also shuffles the contract years.
I wonder if there is a draft philosophy regarding the third round where the team feels "this is the best place to take a flyer on a skill"
and fail
Sean Rhyan, Amari Rodgers, Jace Sternberger, Josiah Deguara, Oren Burks, Montravious Adams, Kyler Fackrell, Ty Montgomery, Khyri Thornton, DickPlod, Alex Green, Jermichael Finley, Aaron Rouse, Jason Spitz, Abdul Hodge,
It fits for a bunch of them.
