On the Badger Senior Night Bucky beats Iowa 65-45. Ethan Happ scored his 51st double double with 21 points and 13 rebounds and 11 of 18 on FT. Iverson also had a double double with 11 and 11. The 3rd senior, Charlie Thomas did not score. With a Maryland loss tomorrow or a Badger win Sunday they will clinch the 4 seed and a double bye in the B1G Tourney.

Pretty much a WHOLE TEAM effort last night, it seemed that each guy had a minute here or there and contributed. It looked to me that Iowa was not really interested, that may be one reason the the Badgers looked so good. Nevertheless, they played well and are heading to the tournaments on a high note.
Where is Happ on the all time Badgers list?
How about nice minutes for Aleem Ford. I've been hard on him this year, but he did things yesterday he doesn't normally do.

He looks like he's just playing and reacting instead of thinking and hesitating.

I'd put him #2 behind Frank the Tank. If Dekker had stayed for his senior season he might have been #2. I really liked Mike Wikinsons game too, but he is not as good as Happ. Mark Vershaw was a good big man too, but again Happ does so much more.

Finley and Tucker are up there too. Probably top 5. Sam was a good player but he was in the dog house quite a bit as a freshman and sophomore.
You young fellas won't remember this but Ron Jackson back in the early 60's was a really good player. Only 2 yrs as a Badger, ineligible as a senior, I recall he was from Chicago. I saw him twice in person and a couple of times on TV. He was a man among boys, at least to my young eyes.
