Let’s take the Roof off of ‘em.

lotsa Phil's in that battery
stinker winker back in the clean-up spot
Caratini is playing first
I am to the point of almost questioning Counsell judgement running Stinker Winker out there almost day after day. The guy has shown nothing. I'd rather have almost any position player DHing instead of him. And maybe even Peralta, a good hitting pitcher.
I have to assume they want to package Keston in a deadline trade
Winker of all people helps get us a 2-0 lead. Then Freddy walks the lead off batter the next inning leading to a 3 run inning. 3-2 Braves.
Lose 6-4 but a hell of a at bat by Perkins with 2 on and 2 outs in the 9th. He fouled off 7 straight pitches before striking out.
Frelick called up, Tapia released.
What is the record for consecutive hits to start a career?
So who does Stinker Winker have pictures of? Would i make a great GM or what? I wanted Frelick called up 2 weeks ago and look, tonight he is 3-3!!!!!
Why does Counsell continue to bat arguably the worst hitter in the National League in the cleanup spot?
How bad is that? Winker has to be close to DFA.
Huira at DH can’t possibly be worse.
Counsel hoping someone can top his personal 0-45 streak
That was an impressive win.
My pal Sal!
Sal for Mayor!
What a nice win!
How can they release Tapia when he has a higher BA, HR total, stolen bases, average and OPS than Winker? Both are left handed bats, and Tapia can play defense. And Tapia has done that with less at bats. What in the hell is going on?
The Brewers had not had a single three-hit game from a right fielder all season as of this morning.

Sal Frelick did it in his first three big league at-bats.

It’s hurricane season boys!
I see what you did there.
Next season, Yelich as DH, Weimer, Frelick, and Mitchell in the OF. Now we need to find a couple corner infielders.
Has any Brewer ever had a better debut than my pal Sal Frelick?
How about that Frelick kid and in his ML debut, no less! He gets a hit in his first ever AB in the League, gets 2 RBIs in the game. Makes two outstanding catches, in CF, at the wall. Gets three hits and sac flies in the eventual game winner when Adames scored! His family was going nuts, in the stands! Way to go, Sal Frelick!
LF - Wiemer
CF - Mitchell
RF - Frelick
pretty sound outfield until one of them is traded to make room for Churio
Finally, no Stinker today.
Bring up Chourio, jettison Wanker.

Weimer in RF. He was regarded as one of the best in MLB before he moved to CF.

He might be on a bus out of town before the first pitch today. Ironically, the only player having a worse season with a qualifying number of ABs is Wong. So we got the best of that trade.
Brian ANderson should be off the DL in a week or so. One would think Winker would be DFA then, but one would probably be rong.
So much for the bull pen scoreless streak, Albies just hit a 3 run bomb off Peguero.
The last five guys in our lineup are slugging under .400, and Adames is at .408.
Damn, I really wanted to take the three game series against the Braves. Thanks, Peguero.
Not giving up, but down by two headed to the bottom of the eighth is going to be tough with these noodle bats.
Frelick could become a legend if he goes yard here.
There’s something cruel about this. For years, we couldn’t develop pitching to save our lives, and we depended on our bats to win.
Now, we have the pitching, but we can’t hit for shit.
Peguero pegged. And will they add a legitimate bat?

They've scored 31 runs the last 10 games, and that's with Yelich playing very well.
Who do they package to get a legitimate bat though?
I don’t know what they could offer that isn’t Chourio or any of the guys up in the bigs now. Or who they would specifically get. I’m guessing they’re feeling teams out, but are probably quite restricted by salary and what other teams want in return.
I doubt they could pull it off, but Cody Bellinger would be a nice rental for the rest of the year. Plug him in CF, move Wiemer to RF, Frelick to LF, Yelich at DH.
Not sure what the Cubs would want, but Bellinger is on a one-year deal with them.
