Sherrod activated, Finley and Barrington to IR

Depends on his other offers.  Dicey situation for him all around. 

Need a pass catching TE next year in the draft to help over the middle.  Quarless is like a lead weight as a receiver---wherever he catches the ball is where he stops.  The rest of the crew are either unproven projects (Bostick, Stonebruner) or at best a blocker (Taylor).

 

Given Packer's history of dealing with neck injuries, doubtful they would take a chance on Finley  (does this mean if we again make the Super Bowl we can exclude him from the team pic...) 

The Packers could tag Finley, I am not sure how Finley would react to a tag.

I wonder if the Packer putting Finley on IR give use any indication on the severity of Rodgers injury,

no chance you tag a guy who ended the season on IR

They kept Richardson.It will depend on Finley's longtime outlook.

Richardson is not safet yet by any means.  They're still biding their time with him.

If he wants to play, he'll have to take a one year deal somewhere.

If Sherrod'screturn makes it so Newhouse never sees the field again, I'm good. For Shea f-ing McClellan to get 3 sacks a POTW honors makes me want to punch a wall...
