Sounds like the same situation as Flannigan. Hope Sherrod comes out as good in the end.
Too bad about Sherrod. I was counting on Benson, but it looks like he's done, too. No white knights on the horizon.
Pretty sure if benson was returning, he would be busting his ass rehabbing in GB versus scrapping the bottom of the barrel trying to make cash. Feel bad for him though.
Can't remember, what was the status of Woodson? He's still on the 53-man, correct? Any news on his return?

Seems people are reading a lot into the Benson status... all McCarthy said yesterday was “We’ll probably have some information for you tomorrow on Cedric Benson.”

Huh? He has been rehabbing and just scheduled a visit with a specialist because it has not gone as expected.

I don't know why people continue to believe in MM's projections. I can see what he does as a form a gamesmanship with the other teams preparing to play the Packers but I assume all of them have learned his pattern by now as well.

Perception or reality, I really don't know. It seems that other teams/players are always coming back on time and often early, the Bears seem very good at getting guys on the field. I still can't believe that the Packer's medical and coaching staff can be different from the other 31 teams in this case.

This is MM we're talking about. I'd be pleasantly surprised if Benson is NOT put on season ending IR.
