if MM truly believes in going with the hot hand at RB I see no reason Ross would not return all kicks. it would be truly mind boggling if Cobb returns kicks again this year.
If Cobb is 100%, he should still be the returner. He is proven and very good. Ross had a great game but it was only one game.
Holmgren always put his best guy back there no matter if he was a starter or not.
You want your best and most experienced back there come playoff time.

Ross had nice runback in Titans game too. And that was outdoors.
If Cobb had an ankle injury bad enough to keep him out this week, there is no way he is "100%" for next week's game. Take him off kickoffs, at least.

Ross appears to be a tough man to bring down. I would run with him unless Cobb is absolutely 100%. No dilly-dallying this week.

You could even argue to put Cobb back there and become more focused on special teams with the return of Jennings. #85, Jones, Nelson and Finley helped put up 34 points yesterday. I know Cobb has been awesome this year but only 1 football to go around so maybe maximize his talents and opportunities by using him on Special teams, if he is healthy.
It was the way Ross was running that got me thinking he should be returning more often. He runs hard and strong, and made some really good decisions. He looked like he knew what the heck he was doing. Save Cobb for when we need a big return.
There is no way I'd put Cobb back there again with Ross playing like he is. He looks damn good back there and has a proven track record of it college.
While fielding punts at Lambeau in January isn't easy. Ross earned another chance to handle punts and returns. He looks like a natural doing both. Very impressed with him. He's not an easy guy to bring down.
Maybe they should put Jennings back there so his sister has another hilarious meltdown.

No, he should not be the returner. We're going to lose Greg Jennings in the off season. We're going to have Nelson, Cobb, Jones and Boykin if he's ok. It's not worth risking a serious injury to Randall. Ross showed enough.
To me it's a no-brainer. Keep Ross as the kick returner. Can't risk Cobb getting injured again doing returns if we have a very capable returner in Ross. IMHO.
Ross is adequate and healthy, keep him in.
On any puint return that looks like it could be fielded at say the 10 to 30 yard line, I have Cobb in there because of his sure hands. On punts that are almost sure touch backs use Ross. Also since most kick-offs are not returned anymore use Ross there too.
