Keep it going.

Anderson back at 3rd. Monesterio will be ready to pinch hit for him.
I can’t recall a year when so many rookies have made me feel optimistic about the future. Hopefully we’ll get a couple of capable arms for Woodruff and Burnes and continue to compete.
Wait until next season when you may get to see Jackson Chourio, Tyler Black, and Jacob Misiorowski.
Adames continues to get better. A 2 run homer in the 1st. 2-0 Crew.
Adames is starting to get it going. That would be huuuuuuge.
Change in the line up. Frelick scratched and Wiemer now batting 9th in center field.

I dunno Blair, I’m hoping against hope that they decide to stay. At least one of them, if not both.
Freddy is pitching a heck of a lot better, but we need to find a way to convince these guys that this team is a serious contender. Keep that rotation going while the youngsters rise.
7-3 going to 7th.
Gotta love ESPN.
Go to check the Brewers score and instead of MLB scores, on their homepage they feature WNBA scores.
If anyone doesn’t believe that being ””Woke” is a thing, explain that one to me.
CBS Sports app - ditch ESPN.
Need to.
Thanks.
I do enjoy Game cast though.
Megill goes over 101 mph on three pitches in the ninth.
On a totally unrelated issue, the Cardinals have been a disaster. How does that manager keeps his job? Wainwright is stuck on 198 career wins and it looks like they are trying to get him to 200 as his career is over after this season. He is 3-9 with an 8.62 ERA. It just looks like sending him off with that milestone is more important than winning.
I use ESPN but go directly to the scores. https://www.espn.com/mlb/scoreboard

Megill is on a roll. If Uribe and Megill can keep it up there is no real soft spot in the pen. Even if the Brewers use up the A bullpen they have some strong guys to pitch the next day in a tight game.
Not my headline but from Brewer's Facebook page! They sound optimistic. Dare we go for another sweep? ESPN Has the Brewers with a 64% win probability.
The current temperature in Milwaukee is 96 at 1 PM, heat index is obviously higher.
Burnes with a bit of a rocky start, as was the TV feed.
Maeda looks gassed, sweating like a butcher.
Bad baserunner by Montesterio there. He did Maeda a huge favor giving away that out and ending the inning. The Brewers had him at 24 pitches already.
Hey, I get the Crew today on my MN station……..and ugh, who’d wanna be there today. 🥵 🥵 🥵 to damn hot. Sure hope they win today…….♥️ 💙 💛
100 degrees in Prairie du Chien with a heat index of 116.
Both of these pitchers are laboring in the heat. A baserunning blunder and a DP are all that's keeping Maeda in the game. He was at 60 pitches with no outs in the 3rd when Adames hit into that DP.
Burnes gets lit up by the White Sox 2 starts ago, dominates the Dodgers on a 2 hitter last week, and then gets lit up today by the Twins.
Sometimes baseball doesn't make sense.
Yelich is now at 21 games and 84 at-bats without a home run. His slugging percentage in August is 329. I'm guessing his back is bothering him again.
Uribe hits 101.7 on the radar gun twice in the 7th inning.

uribe just as hot as the weather.
Anyone know why Ueck isn't on the call? I joined late. Maybe just because of the heat?

When he's going bad he hangs a lot of pitches. The HR's today were beachballs.
Need at least 1 to get to the 11th. Guys are gassed.
Turang picks up Weimer with a game winning hit.
