Could be rong, but unless Prime sells local TV viewership rights we are fucked. I'm guessing we'll have to stream it somehow. I'll probably stream the radio broadcast on my PC. It will remind me of deer camp when we only had the Pack on the radio. For sure I WILL NOT buy Amazon prime to watch a game. Never.
Get used to it DD. You can be sure Greedy Goodell is going to get more and more games on pay TV and less and less on free networks.
Key language from the deal the NFL has with Amazon Prime for Thursday Nights. I expect the Packer game will be carried by KWWL in Cedar Rapids since they are part of the Packers TV network.
Local broadcast stations for the teams playing in a given week will also carry the games over the air.
I do have a Amazon Prime membership.
I just saw itโs gonna be on the NFL Network on our local Packers affiliate station.
In case anyone cares.
There are a couple of streaming sites I use, I've never had any issue with either of them.
Brak posted one of them in the Saints/Packers game thread:
sportsurge.net
This one has a long list, and lets you choose which stream you want.
The other site I use is 720pstream.me. You can't choose which stream you want to use, but instead the game just starts. This is, imo, easier to use, but both work great.
I use either of them for other sports, such as hockey, baseball, or ncaaf.
Thunderbird, Thanks for posting those sites I had forgotten which ones to use.
If I could talk to Goodell I would ask him why we can't buy just an individual games or just my teams games.
years ago I heard rumblings of a pay-per-view style for nfl games. At the time I thought it was ridiculous, now it seems like a pretty good idea.
