And yes, Melvin should have pulled the trigger on getting Justin Morneau.

The season is still going on? Someone might want to tell the Brewers. I think they thought it was only 120 games long.

Morneau would have been a nice addition but Colorado wasn't willing to give him up when the Brewers came calling
Kind of like a description of the 2014 season- very exciting and reason for hope and then then reality sets in and you realize what could have been
I heard the Rox wanted more than the Crew was willing to part with. Looking back now, Morneau could have been a nice addition and maybe a spark that could have prevented this horrid collapse. We'll never know. But come October, Doug Melvin may regret his choice.
Still a big believer in pitching. Not sure what they would have had to give up to get Morneau. Probably too much.
The starting pitching on this team is as much to blame as anything. Fiers has shockingly been their most consistant. Morneau would not have made up for this staff ****ing down their leg and giving up 7+ runs per game the last 2 plus weeks.
Marlins win 6-4. Brewers going down without a fight. Gotta point fingers up the ladder.
This team made good history in the first half of the season and bad history in the last half. Lost 13 of the last 14.
KRod should be gone after this season.
