Got this nice buck this morning in the suburbs as part of a deer reduction program

He had fixed up a bracket to mount his i-phone onto his bow, so he has the whole thing on video as well. This buck was after a doe and he has it chasing the doe within about 15 yds of his tree and then he shot the buck when it was about 12 yds. Dropped in it's tracks. He didin't weigh it but he estimates it to be about 180 lbs. That's a nice deer for Virginia

I'd normally save the comment for Miss X4 but
"Nice Rack"
I'm convinced that theses days, the best trophy hunting could be found in the neighborhood park. The deer are adapting to the human congestion and with virtually unlimited forage (courtesy of the Home Depot) and zero hunting presssure these bucks are the size of bulls.

Be careful, though. Just read a story about an Indiana man on a herd reduction hunt who died of a lacerated liver after scuffling with a not quite dead buck.
