Since we don’t pay the bills here, the “Trinity of Ownership “ is free to format the site however they wish.
Their new format sucks however. 😀
I didn’t like it at first. But In a few weeks most of us won’t even notice.
I apologize profusely that the site that the 3 of us pay for isn't living up to your expectations when they thrust a change upon us.
I've attempted to address a few of the issues.
Alternated post background colors - should help differentiate between posts.
Also added a thin black border around each post (top/bottom/right) - again to further differentiate between posts. Not sure what I think about it to be honest.
Added back the visibility of the timestamp. It was there, but the developers of this software thought having the color of that be "light grey" on a "ever so slightly lighter grey" background was a great default setting.
I'm still not a fan of the colors on the left side of the posts.. Not as much an issue with the other changes, but will still look into.
Again, please forgive us for not living up to your highly refined standards. We'll do everything in our power to earn back the trust of each and every one of you.

BTW - from looking and asking, the color on the left is not changeable and is specific to a poster. They claimed that it will make it easier to ID a poster based on color (meanwhile in this thread alone 3 different posters are the same color, so WTF?)...
Might have to live with that one.
And, my snark aside, I too thought the default setting they threw out there was trash.

The only issues I had were a) separating posts and b) knowing the time they were made. Both fixed.

A lot of the changes were not completely made known to us in the testing from Crowdstack, so we're all dealing with a bit of this realtime...
