This game could very well come down to Crosby's leg (gulp) Haven't heard much talk about ST but I think we have a slight edge over our opponent.

quote:
Steelers PK Shaun Suisham(notes) (6), who replaced veteran Jeff Reed(notes) in midseason, has been superb, making 16 of 18 field goals; Pittsburgh is a difficult place to kick.

So is Lambeau Field, though, and Mason Crosby(notes) (2) has made 24 of 31, including a 56-yarder. Neither has kicked under the glaring spotlight of a Super Bowl.

The rest of the Steelers' special teams are adequate. Brown had one kickoff runback for a score during the season. P Jeremy Kapinos(notes) (13) doesn't always get great coverage accompanying his kicks.

First-year punter Tim Masthay(notes) (8) for Green Bay has been efficient if not spectacular. He had an excellent NFC title game, keeping the ball away from All-Pro returner Devin Hester(notes).

Green Bay gave up more yards than it gained per punt and kickoff this season.

I worry only about coverage teams. If they don't keep their lanes, Randel El or whoever might gash them to get a cheap one. The way the Steelers play, staying close is their M.O. for winning the game. I guess Brown (rookie) is their primary returner.

As for the Packers' return game, Woodson might just be the guy we see. If two guys were put back on punts, a reverse of some sort might just turn into a key play. Otherwise, Williams is for the most part sure handed.
