I can only imagine what it must feel like to be a person of color that’s been harassed or beaten or killed for peaceful protest to further equal rights to turn on the TV and see a bunch of crazed domestic terrorists storming the US Capitol basically unchecked.  Hell, some of them were let it by those sworn to protect our safety and values as a country.  It’s not a sad day, it’s pathetic and shameful and a direct assault on our democracy and these people must be held accountable.  The good news is with facial recognition software they should be able to identify and track down and arrest those involved inciting violence and insurrection against our country.

We have the technology.  The problem is we lack the will.  Something like a dozen had been arrested by curfew last night.  Didn't sound like there was much buzz about arresting many more.  Anybody still have any questions about who has white privilege?

Back to the earlier statement on sports I think between COVID19 and the current political climate it’s tough to get excited or as excited about sports.   College football this year was an afterthought for me, and canceling the NCAA tournament was a downer.  Wasn’t much into the MLB season and I’m sort of into the Bucks and Packers this year but it’s just not the same.  Hopefully, we can all put our differences aside and get past the pandemic and get our lives back to normal, or something closer to normal.

Video games.  You can play Tecmo Bowl on Switch.  BO JACKSON TIME!

Oh I know.  Grew up on video games.  Still play them.  Fallout 76 is my thing.  Maybe NBA.

Tecmo was awesome and it makes me laugh watching Bo Jackson as he was unstoppable.  Just like Jerry Rice.

NHL 94 is another one and who knows how many hours I spent on the Sega Genesis with my Cali buddies??   Swingers may have memorialized it but that game was excellent.

Tecmo made me money back when I played it.  I would bet anyone I could beat their team with a so-so Raiders team.  Bo probably won me $100 before they caught on.

As for yesterday all I will say is that no matter which side of the aisle someone is politically liberal, conservative, libertarian, or whatever it as such a sad day to me and they should prosecute to the fullest extent possible.  I want nothing more than to have our country heal somehow and someway.

As for sports, right now I am in to it more than I have in recent years.  It is my diversion now from all that is going on in the world even for a couple of hours.
