Bucks getting embarrassed right now. Down 14 to the Spurs sitting out Aldridge and Murray.
Portis has been terrible and is 2 for 12 over the last 2 games;
Bucks 10-0 run gets them within 4.

Now 15-0
Bucks end the half on a 29-8 run. Up 7 going to the locker room.
Spurs hanging around. Down 2 in the third quarter.
Bucks need to put the hammer down and put them away. 1 point game with 11 minutes left.
And then? You gonna keep everyone hanging for two days?

Reminds me of growing up in the 1970s and 80s and actually calling Dial-It national sports news a couple of times because I couldn't find out a score. 900-976-1313.
I also remember running out to the mailbox at about 6 AM on Sunday mornings after doing some chores on our dairy farm so I could see the results of the previous night's college and the Friday night basketball games from around the state.
The thing that really stuck with me was the first time I went to a summer basketball camp at a state university and finding out they had ESPN (UWSP) on in the breakroom in the dorm. This was about 1984. I just remember thinking "This is what heaven must be like. This can't be real. A station that does nothing except shows live sports and highlights over and over."
I don't know why, but your post reminded me of that time in my life.
OMG... newspaper box scores and CNN Sports tonight on Sunday night to see highlights of the Packers. Sporting News for baseball leaders. Sports Illustrated actually mattered, and sports was never political.
Growing up in the Town of Rome (Nekoosa schools) meant cable didnβt exist until about 1985. Our first VCR was a Betamax with a βProud Sponsor of the 1984 US Olympic Teamβ sticker on it. Renting a video for the first time...

I ran a couple of cross country meets at Nekoosa. My high school basketball team (Wild Rose) also played at Necedah and Port Edwards was in our conference.
