That sucks. My wife still complains about the sleepless week she spent after my ACL surgery a decade ago. Hope your daughter is well soon. Soccer injury?

It's strictly my opinion, but the latest CBA seems to have sent trades the way of the dodo, by and large. Perhaps a casualty of salary-cap issues.

Of course, there are sometimes the head-scratchers like Richardson from Browns to Colts, but for every one of those, there are 10 potential trades that never happen. It's mostly a waiting game until the player reaches the waiver wire at least, and often waiting until a player clears waivers.

Lol.  Sleep is good.  Time to start proofreading posts I mention proofreading in.  Would have much preferred to be "icing the cookies" Fedya, and as Hungry5 said, i was talking about my daughter and her knee.  Not offended, it was attempt at humor, just not a good one.   Soccer Goalline?!?!  No red blooded American daughter of mine is going to play soccer!!! Basketball.  Thanks for asking, and yes, she is better now.  No more screaming out and crying now.  Found out Benadryl helps with the muscle spasms and cramping.

IF we can put any credence in the tweets from the combine, it looks like the X4 posters really nailed the Pole....

and it looks like Newhouse is gone and Barclay will be re-deployed inside

Refresh my memory...did Barclay stop getting reps at Center in Training Camp because it just wasn't working, or because he was needed full time at RT? If that option is still in play, could see EDS walking and those two duking it out with any draft reinforcements.

No idea, there was a lot of shuffling around after the left-right flip and Bulaga injury

Here are a couple of snippets from the TC blog at packers.com

Barclay worked his way into the starting lineup late last season, opening the final four regular-season games and both playoff contests at right tackle. But he was off to a rather slow start in camp this year while also trying to play center, a new position. It appears his play at tackle has sharpened up since being allowed to focus more specifically on that spot.

"For now, Newhouse will continue to work on both sides, competing with Barclay for the starting job on the right, while Barclay also works at right guard but perhaps no longer at center."
