Buncha haters. The media's infatuation with Tebow has nothing to do with the individual. I don't think he's a good traditional QB either but the kid plays his ass off and leaves his heart on the field. The fact that he has a close relationship with God isn't a bad thing. I'd much rather have my children idolize the likes of him than the vast majority of other professional athletes.

No ****....Taibow took it to the steelers today. They had 9 and even 10 in the box at times. Tebow beat them down with his arm.

Gotta hand it to the guy.

Good on him....fun game to watch.
I think it's hilarious. Tim Tebow having this kind of game will have the pundits crapping their pants and the Tebow worshippers creaming themselves. What great theater it'll be!

Personally, I am kinda glad Tebow had his greatest game this week, on national TV and in front of (ahem) God and everyone. There's a lot of haters out there, and a lot of worshippers, and the irrationality on both sides is what is most compelling to me.

People expose themselves for who they really are, and all over one football player playing a team sport. Awesome...
Without question, Tebow is not a great passer, but I've seen plenty of bad QBs in the NFL, and he is not one of them. To me bad is a guy like Brian Brohm who has absolutely no athletic ability or any other trick in his bag to threaten an NFL defense.

Tebow does have some tricks. He's tremendously strong and while he isn't fast, he probably has enough athletic ability to make it in the NFL as a fullback or TE if he trained enough. That strength and running threat allows him to extend plays which do let his receivers get wide wide open. Even though he's not a great passer, those guys get so open that even an inaccurate passer like he is can hit them now and then.

I think today he certainly got some breaks in the fact that Pittsburgh had a number of defensive guys get hurt, but he did a fine job. This was one of the best games I've seen Tebow play. Tebow is not a great QB, but I don't think he's as bad as some make him out to be either. He's truly the epitome of a gamer.

Edit: 1 more thing. So glad to see Rapistberger knocked out of the playoffs in round 1. Anytime his life can be made to be a bit miserable, I'm all for it.

It will be that much sweeter after we kick their asses.

Please slice breaks both ways------three, count 'em three obvious un-called facemasks vs. the Steelers and a botched non-fumble call on a Steeler lateral that resulted in a touch-down drive. Oh, and Decker, his best receiver injured early.
