At what point do we say San Diego is for real?

When they make it to the SB.   As usual... they....will...fail.

I sincerely miss this dope roaming the Lions sideline. Dude's a joke. Still, I did laugh since it was at the Lions expense and I love watchin division rivals get clowned. It's therapy

Lions went from long-term stability at kicker with Eddie Murray and Jason Hanson to an unmitigated disaster. They felt they could just plug someone in and it'd be fine and it's often not that simple. It certainly makes me appreciate TT's good judgment in sticking with Mason Crosby when he was struggling.

so much stupid in these two paragraphs I had to share.  emphasis mine.

The Jets confirmed ESPN.com's reporting that said Smith was late because he got confused by the time difference. Coach Rex Ryan always keeps the team on Eastern time for West Coast trips, but Smith was thrown off because he saw the time on his cellphone, which showed Pacific time, a source said. The mix-up happens to a player on every West Coast trip, another source said.

Smith started Sunday's game, played poorly and was pulled at halftime in favor of Michael Vick. Ryan said he replaced Smith, who recorded a career-low 7.6 passer rating, because he was looking for a spark. The Jets trailed 21-0 then and ended up losing 31-0.

Lions cut kicker Alex Henery after missing 4 of 5 field goal attempts.

Jay Feely is on his way to Detroit to work out for the Lions tomorrow, source says.

To be fair, it's usually the government stoking that fear and ignorance, with stupid media outlets just parroting the informatoin they've been given.  How many people died in the bird flu pandemic, for example?

Or for mor fun "how could anybody believe this nonsense" moral panicking, look up "Jenkem" or "Rainbow parties".
