In that situation, Kark would have been better off throwing an AR end-of-season long contested int. That had a better chance than throwing to a guy who is covered AND seven yards short of the first down. Just dumb.

Totally agree it was a dumb play, no argument here. Just saying the Lazard jet sweep on 4th down fairly deep in your own territory was even worse.

I was really impressed with the Baltimore defense.  Had Lamar Jackson played, it’s possible they beat Cincy.  Same deal with Miami.  Everyone keeps talking about Buffalo as a worldbeater but they almost got upset by the Dolphins at home.

Josh Allen makes too many mistakes. As I've posted in game threads, he's the closest thing to peak Favre we've seen since Favre was playing

Dumb by the Giants here. High risk to throw the ball there. Now the Vikings can force a punt with two timeouts left.

This seems to be one of the biggest overlooked things from the Queens game.  The Giants gave them a gift by throwing (incomplete) from their own 10 yard line.  2nd down with 37 seconds to go, the Giants run the ball and the Vikings don't call timeout.   They had 2 left and if they used them and stopped the next running play, they would have had the ball close to mid-field with 25-30 seconds left.

Unbelievable that nobody on the coaching staff would be aware of the situation.  They had a legit shot to go into halftime tied and with all the momentum.

Depends on which peak Favre you're referencing.  INT in critical situations peak or 3 MVP peak?  Favre had GB in two SB's, winning one.  Allen looks like a 2023 version of Favre (good and bad) but hasn't moved them to the end game yet.  He also hasn't won an MVP.

With the Bucs getting blown out, the ages of the remaining QB's in the playoffs is 23, 23, 24, 25, 26, 26, 27 & 29.  Dak is the oldest QB left at 29.  5 of the QB's are still on their rookie deals.  It's a young person's league.

Counterpoint:

1 year ago, the final 8 playoff teams had QBs with the following ages - 44, 38, 33, 33, 30, 26, 25, 25.

Avg age  from last year's playoffs is almost 32.  This year avg age is just over 25.

The previous season, nine of the fourteen playoff teams had starting QBs over 30, with four of them making it to the round of 8.

I would say each season is unique.
