Harbaugh looking to sell his timeouts on eBay.
That ball was there for #3 to catch in the end zone, but it looked like heβd never caught a football in his life.
@bdplant posted:In that situation, Kark would have been better off throwing an AR end-of-season long contested int. That had a better chance than throwing to a guy who is covered AND seven yards short of the first down. Just dumb.
Totally agree it was a dumb play, no argument here. Just saying the Lazard jet sweep on 4th down fairly deep in your own territory was even worse.
Stupid bubble headed blonde reporter said to Hubbard, βProbably your first game ball ever.β He looked at her likeβ¦..βBey-otch what?β
My prediction for next weekend: Sat. games: Jags @ Chiefs, early game Giants @ Eagles, late game. Sunday: Bengals @ Bills early game Bucs/Cowboys @ 49ers late game.

Really enjoyable football so far this 'super wild card weekend'.
My favorite, of course, is the Queenies choking at home in the glass box on Chicago Avenue.
@GBFanForLife posted:Bengals must have thought this would be easy. Playing like shit and now have injuries.
YA thumbs down? Does it make you tingle?
Hubbardβs 98 yd fumble rumble in the jungle was game-winning 14 point swing.
I love it! π
It was like cheering seabiscuit down the home stretch.

Surprised overall at the amount of competitive games this weekend. The NFL's goal of parity across the league has seemed to be accomplished.
I was really impressed with the Baltimore defense. Had Lamar Jackson played, itβs possible they beat Cincy. Same deal with Miami. Everyone keeps talking about Buffalo as a worldbeater but they almost got upset by the Dolphins at home.
Wondering if Kark, or anybody in purple, is blaming Hockenson for not getting that 1st down, on 4th and 8, where Kark threw the ball to a covered Hockenson, three yards downfield? Hockenson has saved the vikings, in many short yardage plays, this season. It would not surprise me if he bore the brunt of the vikings' scorn, there.

Josh Allen makes too many mistakes. As I've posted in game threads, he's the closest thing to peak Favre we've seen since Favre was playing
@MichiganPacker posted:Dumb by the Giants here. High risk to throw the ball there. Now the Vikings can force a punt with two timeouts left.
This seems to be one of the biggest overlooked things from the Queens game. The Giants gave them a gift by throwing (incomplete) from their own 10 yard line. 2nd down with 37 seconds to go, the Giants run the ball and the Vikings don't call timeout. They had 2 left and if they used them and stopped the next running play, they would have had the ball close to mid-field with 25-30 seconds left.
Unbelievable that nobody on the coaching staff would be aware of the situation. They had a legit shot to go into halftime tied and with all the momentum.
Just watched the highlights from the Cincy/ Ravens game. 2 things:
First I thought we were done with that Kark Cousins cadence. Burrow sounds just like him!
After a TD, Cincy plays the Packers TD celebration song! (I don't wanna work)

and some damn teams even do the LAMBEAU Leap. π€¬ π€¬ π€¬

I know the Vikings and their fans are pissed another team copied the "griddy".

Depends on which peak Favre you're referencing. INT in critical situations peak or 3 MVP peak? Favre had GB in two SB's, winning one. Allen looks like a 2023 version of Favre (good and bad) but hasn't moved them to the end game yet. He also hasn't won an MVP.
"Mocked" "Taunted"

I'm sure Todd don't mind them bangin' on the drum. Helps pay for his place in Hawaii.

Todd was a lifelong Eagles fan who switched to the Packers due to the big checks they were sending him from that song.
Carnival Cruise paid him a lot for it.
What i find funniest is it was a song he threw in because the record label was insisting he do another album per his contract agreement and it was an FU song to them, that became one of his most profitable hits. Funny story.

The best music comes straight from the heart.

3 MVP Favre. Even that version of Favre would play rocketball at times.
He did but the ratio of rocketballs to MVP's was heavily weighted to the latter. Allen needs to show he can swallow the wild hares enough to get them a ring. It's the last step he needs to take.
Iβm 62.
Iβve never heard the term βswallow the wild haresβ β¦is that a naughty thing?
Itβs a tranny thingβ¦or so Iβve heard.
Swallow the wild hares is when you mash the accelerator pedal. The Tranny shifts down and the 4 barrel opens up making a moaning sound.
Ahhhhhh! Never had that on my Yugo.
With the Bucs getting blown out, the ages of the remaining QB's in the playoffs is 23, 23, 24, 25, 26, 26, 27 & 29. Dak is the oldest QB left at 29. 5 of the QB's are still on their rookie deals. It's a young person's league.
But will the Packers FO realize this and make a move?
Of course not!

Counterpoint:
1 year ago, the final 8 playoff teams had QBs with the following ages - 44, 38, 33, 33, 30, 26, 25, 25.
Avg age from last year's playoffs is almost 32. This year avg age is just over 25.
The previous season, nine of the fourteen playoff teams had starting QBs over 30, with four of them making it to the round of 8.
I would say each season is unique.
