Let's just hope for a return to health for Jordy and Montgomery. Those 2 are really talented guys that were sorely missed late in the year. Get those guys back healthier and that will be a good start to cleaning up the offensive trainwreck the Pack had for most of the final 2/3 of the season.
I wish Seattle would go away... but I don't think they will. Russell Wilson made some major strides this past season and became an excellent passer. That guy will be a thorn in everyone's side for many years as long as he stays relatively healthy. That team kept losing guys like Graham, and Lynch, but they almost got better without them as Wilson just kept on improving week after week.
Lynch leaving Seattle is addition by subtraction IMO
Let me get this straight. Free agency hasn't happened, the draft hasn't happened, salary cap cuts haven't happened, don't know which players will survive TC, in fact not much has happened. Manziel can't even be cut for a couple weeks yet. About the only thing that has happened is the annual rearranging of the chairs on the Titanic - commonly called the NFL coach swap meet - and no one know how many of them will be swapped (fired) next year. But they already know who will win the SB - amazing. I want these guys to manage my portfolio.
Unfortunately, I had them manage mine already. Now I find I have to work until I'm 70 to make up for their genius advice.
For the most part, early SB odds are for the person looking to jump on a little early value. The Colts for example, are not a horrible play at 25/1.
They get Luck back. They should crush everyone in the division. They really just have to find a way to handle Pitt and NE.
Do I think the Colts are winning the SB next year? No. It's not the worst gamble either though. Anything can happen in the AFC next year.

Yep, way better odds than the Lottery.
Most of the oddsmakers were wrong yesterday.....just sayin
If the casinos / bookmakers got lots of people to bet on CAR, I don't think they were wrong yesterday.

Coaching staff also needs to adjust to whatever injuries occur much better. Really an abysmal job by MM last year and he needs to pick it up several notches.
11 wins including 1 playoff win on the road & nearly a second.
Yes, abysmal.
Since the season ended we are finding out a bit more about how limited the Packers were on Offense. Rodgers surgery, Lang surgery, Lacy ballooned, add in loosing Jordy for the year and then Monty and Quarless for most of the year with Q never really returning - tough hand dealt.
Lots of guys have clean-up surgeries every year.
If losing fringe talent like Quarless and Barrington really hurts you, you weren't that deep or good at either position.
yes....we have to "tighten up" that Jordy guy....
add in loosing Jordy for the year
I think Seattle could take a step back as well as Carolina. Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't Seattle have something like 20+ Free agents this off season? If so there is NO way you can sign all of them and losing even half of those players will have an impact.
As for Carolina. I do think they will be in the mix next year but I don't think there is anyway they will go 15-1 in the regular season again. I still am not convinced they are that good to have that record again.
I wondered about the Panthers once the game started simply because they play in the weak South. Two games against the Falcons, Saints, Bucs, then Titans, Skins, Giants, GB and the Boys (Romo threw three interceptions and broke his collarbone late in that game.) Carolina lost to the Falcons, and faced Seattle (tough, cold game at the Queens the week before; Carolina was rested), and the Cards to get to the SB. Hardly a killer schedule and while 15-1 is nothing to sneeze at, they weren't really battle-tested until the Broncos.
Next year I think they start hot, then fade a bit as things are still easy in that division.
The Packers did not battle test them?
They schoolyard-ball tested them, but only for one quarter.
weve been among the preseason SB favorites for most of the past 20+ seasons.

But that is not good enough. The Packers should win every year.

Then don't use your smartphone. Use a dumbphone.
From the above link:
Playing the hardest schedule almost never works out well for a team. Of the six teams that played the six most difficult schedules in 2015 (calculated after the 2015 season), only one of them (Packers) made the playoffs.
See we really did have a good season.
