Don't know where else to put this, but I'll put it here. I'm rather surprised by the narrative that is being written about this game, or not written in this case. I find it particularly surprising because the actual narrative (as I see it) is a more interesting story. While writers mention the injuries to the Packers secondary and to Driver, they don't give it much attention, apart from the emotional aspect of Woodson in the lockerroom. But I think the injuries in the Packers secondary was huge and am surprised it's not woven into the story more. While watching the game it was amazing how Shields, Woodson, and Collins were going to the lockerroom one after another. My impression was that the Packers were dominating, they started getting decimated by injuries, and then it became a lot closer for the rest of the game. Little emphasis seemed to be placed on how losing those DB's was affecting the pass rush because Capers couldn't call as many blitzes. Maybe that's what is surprising me the most -that the huge shift in momentum from those injuries is rarely mentioned and the media and sportswriters don't make the connection between the coverage schemes and the pass rush.
