Jordy Nelson was a gawd in this game, James Jones, Clay Matthews……they won the Super Bowl. XLV. and really this is a hard won to read…XLV. I hate Roman numerals.
and there was Greg Jennings. 🤮 🤮 🤮 he won a Super Bowl……but didn’t like his QB who got him that Super Bowl.
Goldy... never stop Goldy-ing!
Ok then, I sure won’t……..this game was what #12 last Super Bowl?? How many years ago?? Is ♥️ gonna get us at least 2 Super Bowls?? Bert and #12 only got us one. Can Jordan get us at least 2????
A lot of things have to go right for even one Superb Owl, much less two or even three in a QB's playing time. Favre only got one despite playing in two. Heck, as great as Rodgers was, he couldn't even get the team back to a second one. Many would say it's easier to win the first than a second, because the team -- especially the QB -- has to learn how to handle success and handle being the chased rather than the chaser.
Let's see how well Love and MLF handle the success from the end of last year. If Love can keep a level head and keep working hard and improving, and MLF can keep the team from believing it can walk into the playoffs, then I might like GB's chances.

IDK....but it's going to be fun watching to find out.
Winning a Superb Owl is a team achievement. It's not an easy thing to do
This was a hard fought game. Injuries kept it close but you also had a seasoned SB winning coach and QB on one sideline vs. a QB who just several weeks earlier had won his first playoff game.
How quickly some people forget.
Packer drops kept it close as well.
Can't wait for SB LXIX.
Nice.
Can’t believe that both Driver and Woodson were lost to injury and we still won.

Jones dropping what was a sure TD early in the 3rd quarter, and that game was done. Would have been 28-10 with the extra point.
"FIDO".
@YATittle posted:Yeah but then we had to have Woodson replaced by Jarrett Bush who did get an INT off rothlesberger.Greg Jennings was miked up and I’ll never forget his astonished comment on that.
If I remember correctly, Bush was in position for the interception because he blew the coverage he was supposed to be in and Big Ben read the coverage and assumed Bush would be in the position he was supposed to be in.

I think due to film study with Woodson he actually read the coverage correctly. It was supposed to be a trick by the Steelers and Bush wasn't supposed to be there in the Steelers eyes. The trick was supposed to lead Bush to a different coverage but he didn't fall for it.
IDK, it's been ~15 years...lol

Was Big Ben really that overconfident in the suckness of Bush that Ben didn't even look for him on that play? The "I read the coverage" angle is what Bush touted when asked about the play after the game. However, Jennings' in the moment authentic reaction of, "What!? Jerrod Bush made a play!?" makes me wonder if Bush even knew where the film study room was. Is it possible Woodson felt something in his body that made him question whether he'd be able to get through the Superbowl without injury and therefore force fed Bush everything he knew about the Steelers in that film study room? Until "Outside the Lines" decides to do a deep dive into this question, it will simply remain, unexplainable. However, if we are to hypothesize that the simplest answer is often the most accurate, then we can assume the ball landed in Bush's hands as Bush was standing up after having retied his shoe.
It's a mystery of life I guess, kind of like where is Jimmy Hoffa and who killed JFK.
Hoffa killed JFK?
Theorists believe Teamster leader Jimmy Hoffa conspired with the mafia to kill JFK
Conspiracy theorists have long surmised the mafia was involved in the assassination due to the enmity created when JFK and his brother Robert F. Kennedy began a campaign to stop mob influence on the Teamsters labor union. When JFK was elected president in 1960, he appointed Robert as attorney general. In his new role, Robert began a very public attack on organized crime, in particular going after Jimmy Hoffa, who had been elected leader of the Teamsters union in 1957. At that time the union controlled the majority of commercial trucking in the United States. Hoffa was known to consort with major mafia bosses, the mob having already corrupted many labor unions in large cities.
As a senator, Robert pursued Hoffa over racketeering charges, though no conviction was brought against the Teamster leader. On becoming attorney general, Robert went so far as to form a “Get Hoffa” squad to aid his quest, ultimately succeeding in bringing him to justice. In 1964 Hoffa was convicted of attempted bribery of a grand juror and sentenced to eight years in prison. But it was the earlier actions of the Kennedys that adds fuel to the assassination theory involving the mob.
When JFK was unsuccessful in overthrowing Cuban leader Fidel Castro in 1961, mafia-controlled casinos on the island remained shut down, angering American crime family bosses who had invested heavily to create a tourist destination to rival Las Vegas. Theorists suggest the mafia and Hoffa conspired to kill the president as an act of retribution.

No matter who was injured or what Bush did, I have the DVD. When I need more anxiety in my life, I watch it.
But my sister and her husband were in the stands at that game and when Woodson hit the turf (and hurt his shoulder), they were just off the screen by about three or four rows further up. They talked about the view they had of the injury - not that it was all they saw ............
Were they on the grassy knoll too?

Of course you, unlike Goldie, know who won the game.
