Love DA, but I voted "no" because I don't know that he makes a huge difference in that there's no guarantee of the chemistry he would have with Love. I don't think he'd want to come back to GB anyway. But mostly because I'd like Love to rely on the young guys going forward, and I value the 2nd more than a year or two of good DA.
No - that’s the survey
Pass. The kids need the reps.
No, I think the offense operates best without a single stud.
Also, good on Adams for telling that org to fuck off. We all knew he went their to play with Carr, they screwed him.
Need someone who can actually get to the QB every so often more than a receiver.
Nope, for all the reasons above.
Yes, but I figure Davante prefers somewhere else.
I do see a poor man’s Davante in Dontavion Wicks on our team. He’s got the same problem Davante did in his first couple seasons, too many drops. That said for as good as Wicks is at getting open, Davante was and is at another level in that department.

Exactly. This team needs that more than a receiver right now.
I like the young WR group on this team and if they can learn to consistently catch the ball we will be just fine. I am very thankful for what Adams did for the Packers but I would have to say no right now.
Tae was great in GB, but his time here is over. I hope he goes somewhere where he's treated better than he has been with the Raiders, and I wish him every success -- except against GB, of course.
That said, I think Tae would be a great mentor to WRs and become a good coach. Maybe when his playing days are over, he'll do that -- and then I'd welcome him back to GB.

Do you think the Raiders treated him poorly because they moved on from Carr? One might argue GB treated him poorly with a lowball offer that turned him off from wanting to be a Packer anymore. Either way I would not want him back at this point either. Let the kids learn and grow together.
Is there really any doubt that 17 is destined to be traded to the NYJ and this is a moot point? I don't know how they get the deal done, but I'd be very surprised if that's not where he ends up.

I would sure think that this would be the case and it's just a matter of time before he is a Jet.
Davante did the same thing Greg Jennings did- made a career choice that in the end didn't work out as they planned. Tauscher said today he wouldn't want him back if the price was only a third and I'd agree.
I have no ill will towards DA, and wish the best for his future in football.
However, I think there's a lesson for all players to be aware of; simply put, "the grass ain't always greener on the other side".
I'm sure nobody thought his deal in Oakland/LV would turn out like it did for all involved. If playing with Carr is/was of utmost importance to him, maybe the 'Aints need to make a deal...
Too much work to trade for Carr then Adams.
Why is anyone suggesting he'd go to the Jets? I thought the narrative 'we' landed on was that Davante hated Rodgers because Rodgers was too much of a glory hog and really Davante was the one most worthy of said glory?
On a more serious note, of course I'd take him back if he's still the same player as when he left. Can't say I've watched the Raiders at all so most of my exposure to him the last couple of years are the Taco Bell commercials which are just mid.
Adams will be 32 in December. I wouldn't trade anything for him... GB has some really talented young receivers that just a bit of time to get it together.
Besides playing with Carr, part of the reason he signed with LV was to be closer to home and family in Cali. But again, no one is trading for him without a contract restructure. The current cap hits in 25 and 26 are just to massive for a team to absorb. With that I could see the Saints, any of the Cali teams (Rams?) or Seattle as possibilities.
No
Geez, the Rams. Puka, Cupp and DA. Man!
Yes
Interesting that James Jones thinks the Saints are the best fit for Davante.

Please don’t equate Davante with Greg Jennings. Tae was a consummate warrior in GB and was not a whiner or complainer.

Several other potential NFL suitors reportedly believe Las Vegas Raiders All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams is "engineering" a trade to the New York Jets in order to reunite with longtime former Green Bay Packers teammate Aaron Rodgers, sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer on Wednesday (October 2).
"Teams involved Davante Adams’ market have become convinced the Raiders star is focused on engineering a trade to the Jets. The Bills and Steelers are among those who’ve inquired with Vegas on Adams, per sources," Breer wrote on his X account.
I say he’ll end up at the J E T S , Jets, Jets, Jets.

The mind meld.....Garrett Wilson will learn
If K C really wants a 3 peat they will offer a 1st round. #32 is almost like a second round anyway and could also offer a 2nd rounder. Raiders would be stupid to turn that down. But we are talking about Mark Davis here.
As of this week, a team would have to absorb at $13.3M+ salary cap hit if they traded for DA. Interestingly, the hit is reduced by almost $1M for every week that elapses.
Of course, his contract would have to be renegotiated if they intend for more than a 1-year rental.
With the reports of a hammy injury, it may make all this stuff moot.
But Adams isn't getting any younger, if he can play, he needs to be doing that, wherever it may be. Going on IR or other scenarios do nothing for him.
Just don't go to the vikings.....
