TJ Hoisermama, Marques E. Colston, Stevie Johnson, Ryan Fitzpatrick? Not to mention all the undrafted guys just from the Pack alone.

Shannon Sharpe was taken in the 7th.  So was Bo Jackson (second time around).

EDIT: Whoops, TJ should be in the second list, over ten years ago drafted.

now, don't get all butt-hurt about being called out on your intolerance....you know, start swearing and calling others' names when you can't defend your point of view and all.

BTW....calling any American a "Reaganite" is a compliment.  Thanks!

You take generic cowardly stupidity to a whole new level.

I can think of one 17th rounder who turned out pretty good, but that was in prehistoric times.

I guess I asked the wrong question. True, a number of late and last round picks have survived and flourished. But statistically, the great majority never made through their first training camp.

The question really should be is someone who supposedly is a marginal player at this level worth all that comes along with it?  Or, are the "experts" wrong, he's not marginal, should have been picked a lot earlier, and wasn't because of prejudice and discrimination?
