That sucks. That 1978 team was the first Packer team I ever remembered watching. It was a decent year (8-7-1) sandwiched by many poor seasons. It was a pretty big accomplishment to get 1000 yards back then, so was pretty cool to see Middleton do it. I believe he had a knee injury the next season (along with Eddie Lee Ivery and Steve Atkins, all blew out knees) and never really did much after that.
RIP Terdell and thank you for the entertainment you provided in 1978.
Not a whole lot to get excited about during the dark period and Terdell was a bright spot. Thought he and David Whitehurst had the team moving in a positive direction and in the end it was just wishful thinking on my part.
RIP, he died way too young.
Now you know how Vikings fans feel every year.quote:Thought he and David Whitehurst had the team moving in a positive direction and in the end it was just wishful thinking on my part.
Oh, my. Terdell was one of the few bright spots during those dark years. Had some promise until he blew out that knee. RIP, and thanks for the memories...
RIP. That sure was a fun year that came out of nowhere during the dark years. Middleton was one of the really bright spots that year
