I didn't think Baltimore had a chance in hell to beat Denver. I'd be inclined to believe the same thing in this game, but New England hasn't been a powerhouse in the playoffs lately. They killed the Jets a few years ago and then lost by 10 points in the playoffs.

It's early but the Pats sure don't look sharp so far. Houston has to take advantage but Schaub is anti clutch.

Yeah Schaub is awful. I would think if Houston is to win the game Foster will have to have a huge game or the defense has some sort of epic performance.

San Fran lost a chance to go to the Super Bowl last year on a similar quick whistle. Bradshaw fumbled on like the Giants 10 yard line but the ref blew the play dead almost instantly.

Ironic they show Kraft in his box then the refs gift the Pats a defensive holding call to extend their drive. Welker was grabbed within 5 yards, therefore legal, except when the Pats need a call!

i'm not a ne lover at all - just saying that somehow they are able to regroup on offense despite significant player turnover - is it just brady and the o-line?

That's where TT has made a huge mistake in not immediately solidifying a top notch O-Line, especially when Rodgers took over the QB'ing duties. It not only would give Rodgers the time to pick teams apart, but it would also greatly improve the running game when needed. Out of the present offensive line Sitton is the only one that can be considered top notch as Bulaga regressed before his injury (or maybe he was fighting an injury all along) and the rest are nothing special. Gotta start with this draft coming up in getting a big talented center, then hopefully Bulaga will get back to form injury free and Sherrod shows why he was drafted where he was.
