I'd like to publicly thank the Cardinals for beating the Seahawks in Seattle.

I was sick & tired of hearing the media trot out the meme "Seahawks haven't lost since Dec. 2011!!"

Talk about a "record" with an asterisk, my god. I tweeted as much to Andrew Siciliano & Rachel Nichols too

Thank you Cardinals for finally making the league "officially" recognize a loss in Seattle.

And this is another reason "WHY" I want the Packers to make the playoffs.

With Rodgers, they are obviously a MUCH, MUCH better team....and capable of beating anyone.  With a home game AND Rodgers, they run a decent shot of beating the Saints or Carolina or San Fran. And that would set up a round 2 game at Seattle (most likely).  Seattle is very good, especially at home.  But they're not infallible.  And beating them AGAIN at their place would be so sweet.

Once in the playoffs, anything can happen!!

Boris:  You have no idea how happy it made me!  This town is full of bandwagon jumpers and now the Seasucks are more popular than Elvis.  My wife was in the hospital for week covering the period of time of the Cardinals game and it seemed like every staff member wanted to remind me hat GB didn't win that game and that officiating was part of the game.   Of course the nurses station was so quiet you could of heard a mouse fart by the end of the game!  Totally loved it

BTW....Brady was out that year with a broken vajayjay...and Matt Casell led them to four straight wins to end the season as the Jets folded and Miami won the East.

They were the FIRST team to go 11-5 and miss the playoffs....sadly, the same could be done this year.

p.s. even though I'm a diehard Packer fan since I was born....as  a kid growing up in the 1960's....I had always liked the Cardinals uniforms...so, I rooted for them except when they played the Packers...they didn't win much...but they were fun to watch: Charley Johnson (Jim Hart-backup), Jackie Smith, Johnny Roland, Jim Bakken (former Badger);  Larry Wilson....I"m sure I'm missing someone...

I still root for them....EXCEPT...when the play the Packers or if the team they are playing needs to win to help the Packers....

well now guys...I was just referring to the Cardinals of the 1960's....but...yes, they had quite a few characters on their roster in the 1970's....Doh! Dobler had to be one of the meanest SOB's playing then...

but, God Bless Don Coryell for bringing them up a notch, too. I still root for the Cardinals today...but...never against the Packers.  It also helps that the Cardinals are in the same division as the CheatHawks and Whiners and even the Rams now with that dick Jeff Fishhead as coach.

Don't forget Clyde "the glide" Duncan - fyi, a Cardinal bust of Mandrich (spell?) proportions.

I would also like to thank all three of our NFC North opponents for allowing us a shot at the division title with a 7-7-1 record.    If it is truly more blessed to give than to receive, then there is a lot of rejoicing in Minnesota, Detroit, and Chicago right now.  But in GB there is more rejoicing.
