Everybody hated Bush three years ago but seeing what has happened the last couple of years make us think Bush is not as bad. Good signing.
(any thoughts about another guy named Bush is just a coincidence)
Always good to have a ST stud on the field and I think he is kind of that guy. Obviously his coverage leaves a lot to be desired, but it seems he had been more around the ball this last year (I know none of our DBs seemed to be around the ball). The safety thing intrigues me, although I would be surprised to see him out there on opening day, it just seems he has the physicality to play there.

Same here. Hopefully Shields recovers from his sophomore slump, and Davon House is ready to contribute in the coming season, and we won't have to worry about #24 on the field taking any defensive snaps.

They led the league in INTs, didn't they? You have to be around the ball consistently for that to happen. They were asked to cover for way longer than a DB should be expected to cover with the poor pass rush, and got burned at times because of it, IMO.
Bush is a ST demon. But let's not forget the influence Masthay has had. A little hang time and directional talent do wonders for punt coverage.

As for Kickoff coverage, love those touchbacks!

As do I, until I have to start pulling hair out of my teeth. Nonetheless, the taste is sweet.

When he's out there, it's a sign that either there has been a lot of injuries or the Packers failed to get enough quality DBs on the roster. If Nick Collins can return and Davon House proves to be something (at least being an improvement over Pat Lee), we will barely see him on the field at all next season. Furthermore, he's not the worst 3rd stringer to have in a pinch if the front seven are playing at an NFL level that day (didn't see a whole lot of that last year).
First contract details I've seen. Typical TT.

@BobMcGinn: CB Jarrett Bush re-signed with Packers for $5.25M over three years ($1M S-bonus). His expired deal was $4.5M over three years.

What am I? A yeti? A well trimmed hedge, sure.

Leave me out of your rants.
