not sure Forte would be particularly expensive, but undoubtedly more expensive than Starks.
I think he'd fit nicely in the offense. Lacy and Starks are good receiving backs but this offense really lacks a deluxe 3rd down back. Could be fun.

Forte would be a perfect fit. Have the Pack had a good pass catching back since Dorsey (and don't include Cobb)? I'm OK with losing Starks if they have to. They seem to find OK patchwork guys in a pinch. I also think the staff has issue with Starks' fumbling. Do it Ted!
(not holding my breath)
Also, I read that the Texans, Jets and Dolphins are interested in him. Not exactly contenders"
Forte just signed with the Jets.
@ByRyanWood: #Packers have real needs in free agency: coverage ILB and TE. Signing a 30-year-old RB to split snaps with Eddie Lacy never made sense.
This a thousand times.
I thought he wanted a championship?
The only thing more fun than watching Ted Thompson wannabe's go down in flames is watching Ted Cruz supporters go down in flames.
Forte seems like a good guy, but if he's okay spending his whole career with losers then that's his business. Wish he could have come to GB, but I'm glad he's out of the division. He, Megatron, and Peterson are the only offensive players I was jealous our rivals had. 2/3 of them are gone from the NFCN.
That's ok, even contracts from losers can buy a lot of Super Bowl rings:

Looked twice and couldn't find the queen's rings!
Reported that he is now a J-E-T...ugh
But sources said he wanted to go to a contender.
Jets are always a contender.

Since Forte is long gone, I guess this thread can go where the wild goose goes, bye bye.
I wonder if we would have went for two if we had had Forte?
Probably
Maybe we can sign Forte next year when he gets cut from the Jets
I'm more interested in the case against Forte. Clearly it was him in the dining room with the candlestick.
OJ DIDN'T DO IT!
Well, duh. He's hunting for the real killers.
Hunting being the operative word.
Screw him. We already have one Bear on the team. Don't need anymore. Next thing you know Chicago fans will be making fun of us like we make fun of Vikings fans.
I don't think Peppers' performance with GB so far has given CHI anything to laugh at.
However, read the book....If I did it
Only if the money goes to the Goldmans.
Read down the page just a smidge....
On July 31, 2007 Federal Court Judge A. Jay Cristol awarded the Goldman family the rights to If I Did It. Thus began one of the strangest odysseys in publishing history.

Now bend down, girls, and touch your toes
I'm gonna show you where the wild goose goes!
