Bucks have 9 games left.
They have a very difficult 4 game western trip this week:
@ Clippers
@ Warriors
@ Lakers
@ Nuggets.
Then they get:
Celtics and Nets at home
@ Knicks
home against Orlando
@ Philly
This western trip is going to really be a bear. The Clippers just pantsed them this past week, but maybe the Warriors are limping to the finish. The Lakers are of course beatable, but Denver is a horrible matchup and it is very doubtful they can beat them.
They’re at 39-34 after beating the Spurs today. Indiana is the 5 seed at 43 wins, so unless they unravel the Bucks probably cannot catch them. Washington is 1 game ahead with 9 to play, and are 4-7 since March 1st. They’re vulnerable.
But so are the Bucks. Brogdon has started practicing, and Dellavadova is also getting closer. This week the Bucks bench has really popped, with Shabazz Muhammad and Brandon Jennings offering points and hustle, and Tony Snell seems to have shaken off a mid season shooting slump. Jason Terry getting starts is not going to continue, so either Snell or Brogdon will be the guy. The rotation usually gets tighter in the playoffs, so the Bucks will have some interesting decisions with the rotations.
Assuming the unthinkable doesn’t happen of course...
