Supposedly, he was the regular NFL replay official. I'm curious what his name is, does anyone know? Even he blew the call.

On review, the call on the field can only be reversed with clear evidence. What, exactly, was the call?

that officiated high school games".

What possession? Tate never had possession. This is worse than the Cardinal playoff loss with Rodgers face mask getting grabbed.

That is what I have been thinking all night?? Did the referee make the final call that it was a TD?

There seems to be conflicting information on what was reviewable or not. I've read in some places that if the ruling on the field in simultaneous possession, all the replay official can do is confirm the ball didn't go out of bounds, bounce, etc., but not reverse the ruling of joint possession. Doesn't make a ton of sense to me.
Regardless, McCarthy and the Packers need to do three things on this brutal flight to Seattle:
1) Get all the players off Twitter. There's no point...the entire sports world agrees with them. Troy Aikman called it a joke; even the #1 contrarian Skip Bayless agrees with them. So just stay off twitter, hopefully for the rest of the season.
2) Mike Murphy's job the next 24 hours is to leave no stone unturned to demand a league investigation and response to what happened. Reversing the outcome of a game is unprecedented, but so is a call of this nature under these circumstances. But let Murphy and the rest of the organization deal with the fallout and the league response. Coaches and players have other things to worry about.
3) Players and coaches walk off that plane with a new commitment to the season. As brutal as this loss is and as much as the consequences may still loom with playoff births and seedings, the Packers still control their own destiny. Use this as the kick in the ass to get in it gear and turn this season around.
