C'mon Folds......
Yeah, I hate to say it, but I'm pulling for the Bears here.
@Blair Kiel posted:These 2 teams represent 25% of the Packers remaining schedule.
The Texans, Vikings, and Lions (cumulative 2-10) make up another quarter.
I'm not sure who's worse: Foles or the O-line.
Three worms died on that Brady throw. Donovan McNabb would be proud.
Owww.....that poor guys ankle is broken
Omg that injury Vita for Tampa looked brutal. ðģ
Roughing the passer?
I have not understood when and how that rule works game to game?
That's some terrible clock management.
Bears being Bears....why throw the ball on that 2nd down instead of running it?
Even if Robinson catches it, he's OOB & clock stops
Nagy is a moron
McCarthy-like clock management by Nagy there. WTF
Glad I'm not the only one that wants to see Tampa lose. They are marginally better than the Bears but we only get one chance to beat them.
Poor Tom. He thinks it's 4th down now. LMAO.
Good. Hate to be happy for a B***s win but I canât stand Arians nor the Brady hype machine.
Tom's getting old He lost track of the downs
Dementia setting in for Tom ? Lolz he didnât realize that was 4th down. Oof
Tommy's not screaming at anybody because he's embarrassed as Hell he can't count to 4.
can we stop the love fest for the bucs and brady now. yea, they won the offseason. That usually does not work out too well for the real season.
If Vita Vea broke his ankle, thatâs a massive loss for that run defense. Aaron Jones and Jamal will be licking their chops.

I really think Nagy was going hard to get the 1st down there so that heâd never let Brady see the ball again. Facing another QB, he may have been more conservative, but he went for the knock out punch against Brady and it backfired.
Fortunately for him, his defense helped bail him out.
Navy does that shitty clock management vs. Rodgers..... AR12 will make him pay.
There is absolutely zero reason to throw the ball toward the sidelines on 2nd down. Pass to Middle of the field & I might be convinced but RTFB in that situation to burn that last timeout -- you can go for the "knockout punch" on 3rd down & they threw the ball on that play anyway. He's lucky Tom didn't make him pay because AR12 WILL.... especially this season.

To be honest, I think Tampa is good. They get Godwin and Fournette back, their offense is going to be better than it was tonight with them sitting.
As was pointed out. if they lost Vea tonight, that will benefit the Pack. Overall, I think Tampaâs front 7 on D will possibly be the best front the Pack has faced this year even if Vea is out. I think their secondary is pretty mediocre though.
Brady was f-bombing his offensive line a few minutes ago. Do that and you better know how many downs you have.

Really would have preferred a Bears loss here to try and steal a common opponent tiebreaker if it becomes relevant later.
Yup. Would much prefer a 2 game lead with a conference and common opponent loss.
The Pack has 2 chances to beat the Bears. They have nobody to blame except themselves.
They made it thru the "pre-season" part of the schedule with a 4-0 record plus 4-0 in the conference with 2-0 in the division. That's a helluva start.
The real football starts after the bye.
Always preferable to have a team in the division lose, but not terribly concerned about the Bears long-term.

I liked it when Foles wanted to go to a hurry-up offense because he felt he had the Bucs on their heels and Nagy decides to slow things down. Later, the TV crew showed Foles chewing on Nagy to let him speed things up. nice to see divisional opponents having problems, like this, between their starting QB and their Head Coach.
In a normal season I'd be fine with the fact we play the Bears twice.
But as the Patriots and Titans have proven in this season, we're 1 COVID diagnosis away from our record being irrelevant.
I generally think you are a lone cloud on a sunny day, but in this instance, you may be right.
Bears scored 20 on TAM. Anyone think the Packers can't do at least 50% better?
Bears held Brady/BUCS to 19. Brady with NEP/Belichick would've scored 30. Arians always looks lost to me.
"Bears scored 20 on TAM. Anyone think the Packers can't do at least 50% better?"
I think the Packers will have to score 30. That bunch formation where the 2 TEs and a WR are all tight to the line and then bust out into pattern will really test the middle of the secondary(tackling as well as they do). A healthy Clark to push the middle back into Brady's face could be crucial. He had a couple of balls batted down last night and seems to prefer a low trajectory pass. He worm-burned several last night.
Brady looks like he's entered Brees territory. Hope they both quit after this season.
The bears scored a td on a drive that started on Tampa's 20.
@YATittle posted:Brady looks like he's entered Brees territory. Hope they both quit after this season.
Agree. The key, especially for Brady, is to make him move around in the pocket. He was one of the slowest QBs in football 15 years ago, let alone now.
Brady doesn't have anyone like Kamara to dump the ball down to and get huge plays off of passes that go 5 yards in the air. I'm more worried about stopping their running game. If Clark is back healthy, that becomes much easier.
I don't think Tampa Bay puts up many points against Green Bay's defense.
@Blair Kiel posted:I generally think you are a lone cloud on a sunny day, but in this instance, you may be right.
In many ways, it may be an advantage to live in Green Bay in this situation. If you are in a large city, there are a lot more chances to get exposed. Even though the per capita rates in Wisconsin are awful, it's not like these players are going back to their downtown high rise apartments and walking through the lobby of a building with hundreds of people living in it to get to a shared elevator.

With a healthy Adams, I think they do more than 50% better.
