Wizard's reprieve.
I propose a trade:
Nice reference Ka Bong, My favorite walking dead character.
"Here's the keys Tom. Should be a great season!"
Just driving the bus
"You love my play calling?"
"You realize I'm from Pittsburgh eh?"
"We've run 11 personnel 100 times in a row. Why not 111 bruh?"
That looks promising.
"Obviously this wouldn't be the last time I bailed out your ass Mike"
That's from over 2 years ago, @CIN game, right?
MM? Yes. Play calling was just oh so special that game.
The other is when Macho Pittsburgh threw the challenge flag on IIRC a change of possession which are automatically reviewed anyway. If I remember right, had Jordy not picked that up we would have gotten a 15 yard flag.
The Dom -vs- The Norv this week, that's a push. But, if they go to TCF Bank Stadium with Clements -vs- Zimmer, it's going to be ugly.
Good thing McCarthy gave up the play calling so he can focus more time on the overall flow of the game.
Remember when the Packers went 15-1 and in the last regular season game Matt Flynn threw for 6 TDs against DET with an in-active Aaron Rodgers calling the plays? That was awesome.
Raji seems more active and physical on the sidelines than he does on the field.

Tolzien or Hundley, take your pick.
Hundley. With the way the OL has been playing they'll need his wheels.
With that many doughy white guys on the offensive staff they should hire me to complete the set.
Is it possible that MM underestimated how much of an offensive genius he is that he thought anyone could do it?

No.
Here was the background on that. From NFL.COM:
McCarthy got very, very lucky during the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings when he threw an unfortunate challenge flag. Following a play where the officials ruled that wide receiver James Jones fumbled the ball on the goal line, McCarthy whipped out his flag in anger. We all know by now that's a 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct because all turnovers automatically are reviewed.
McCarthy was penalized despite the best efforts of Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson, who picked up the flag and tried to hide it. But the penalty didn't matter much. The officials still reviewed the play and reversed the call to a touchdown for the Packers. The penalty yards were tacked on to the kickoff; no big deal.
I just liked seeing Jordy again.
I miss that dude.
^^
No shock.
Clements is a ****ing idiot and needs to be unceremoniously removed.
That is all.
So McCarthy gives the keys of the Ferrari like offense to Clements, but his problem is he winds up to 7k-8k rpm in 1st and then tries to go right to 5th. No building on what was working.
- Why the Packers didn't run the ball 35 times tonight is beyond me.
- Seriously, Eddie Lacy averaged 6.2 yards per carry. Starks averaged 5.6. Rodgers threw the ball 43 times. This is straight up asinine.

OMGAWD, you're kidding right...all people did last year was rag on the horrible play calling MM did. EXICUTION IS THE NAME OF THE GAME, and the boys didn't execute. 1st and goal with 50 seconds left and the Packers were on or close to the 10 years line. 4 incomplete passes???? really??? Not one run play was called??? EXECUTION is the name of the game no matter who's calling the plays. JMHO.

Yes, the executions should start at dawn.
MM is a solid coach. He made the right decision in trying to transition to a pure HC role. I'm hoping this failed experiment will be another lesson in becoming a better overall HC and to help him effectively evaluate some of the stiffs on this coaching staff.
I've never been a Clements fan, the guy has been genuinely horrible whenever holding a major position. I don't know why I held out hope that the combo of Clements, Edgar and Rodgers would be effective. I truly hope Rodgers tells the sideline to go **** themselves and starts audibling more.
The Norvening is in effect and making a comeback. Fight the Norvening MM, FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE!
Great point about being able to clearly identify the weak spots in the coaching staff. Let's see if he reacts or keeps his hand on the stove until it burns down to the bone.
