Yeah I said it

I have no idea what this guy is doing

He is not a progressive thinker nor he is a good strategist.  Case in point- he gave starter minutes to John ****ing Henson the last two nights in double digit losses.

Not to mention he wants to play GM and that's a ****ing disaster as well.  Keep him away from the personnel moves.

They have a top 5 player in Giannis and the ownership team needs to really think if Kidd is capable of taking this team to the next level.  Spoiler alert- he's not.

DEEZ NUTS!

Same old Bucks.

Kidd is part of the problem, but who else is he supposed to give minutes to other than Henson?

Giannis, Middleton, Brogdon. As good a top 3 as there is outside of Cleveland or Boston in the East.

Then you have Snell, Teletovic, Dellavadova, Liggins, Maker, Vaughn, and Jason Terry getting minutes. Jason Terry is basically an assistant coach at this point. Maker still has potential, but then it's a bunch of guys that might struggle to beat a D league team.

Without Parker and Monroe, there is just isn't a lot here to put with those top 3.

I don’t think that Jason Kidd is a good coach. But when you look around at the coaches in this league, guys like Lue and Walton... Earl Watson was hired and fired after 2 games... coaching doesn’t always matter all that much in the NBA.

That said, he’s got a clown car on his hands right now. The offensive scheme is a bag of cats. One on one, one on one... and then the players let you down, missing the open looks they generate. And since they don’t have a threat to break down the D of the dribble, they don’t get the easy looks that others teams that can are able to.

Maker needs more playing time. His issue is confidence and comfort level.

I watched a good part of the game last night.   Absolutely no defense from the guards.  Utah guards were getting to the basket with ease - once the help side defense came over it left wide open 3's.  Utah set a franchise records with 18 three-pointers last night.   A lot were uncontested.

Looked like a completely different team last night. Against a bad team sure, but they played down to their competition before. They didn’t last night. And Giannis was operating on a ferocious level last night- quicker and more powerful than the past several games.

We’ll see what happens against Portland.

Gotta see improvement on the defensive side. They are still highly susceptible to the corner 3, frustrating how they overplay the ball side and leave the weak side corner open. When they do chase the corner it seems they often give up easy middle penetration. Seems this should have been fixed, or atleast improved, by now.

Unlike Sac, Portland will be a good test to see how the defense is adjusting.

Test passed... they’re playing like they did in March last season. They’re breaking out to big leads and cruising to the finish.

They get out rebounded 40-30, but 11 to 5 in steals and 5 to 3 in blocks, and they force 19 turnovers (to 10).

If they can ever become a good rebounding team...

Pretty impressive win against a good team on the road (Portland)

They get 9 of their next 13 at home so it's time to make a step and improve their overall record.  November was challenging but December should be easier!

Man they looked good last night. They came out aggressive on both ends of the court. You could tell the defensive effort was there from the start, and it worked -  Portland players were visibly frustrated. The game wasn't as close as the score would indicate.

Keep it up !!

Blowing out Sac after they left everything on the court vs. the World Champs? (Minus Curry & Durant too) Not a big deal.

Blowing out Portland OTOH.....

The Bucks are linked to Jordan, Okafor, and Chandler right now. They know Henson has no ass, cannot keep the bigger stronger interior guys out of the lane. Maker can’t either.

So they’re trying. Middleton is off limits IMO. Not that he’s untouchable, but who the hell is going to score from the perimeter?

Jordan is an expiring deal more or less- he has an opt out. Will he? If he does he gets another $24M in 2018. The Bucks have Parker up for contract as a RFA- and I don’t think Jordan gets $24M anywhere. So even if they get rid of Henson, they have to add a contract to the deal to get a match. Teletovic (2019 FA)? So you’re going to sell the Clippers on Brogdon and 3 years of Henson + Telly?

I don’t know why the Clippers would do that. Jordan probably wants to join the Cavs and then opt out and follow LeBron  back to LA.

They stopped trapping up top and then they couldn’t defend the pick and roll.

Boston shoots 55% and the Bucks get out rebounded 45-28. They gave up 8 offensive boards, but it sure seemed like more. They played better in the second half, but they needed more than 19 points in the final quarter.

What the heck kind of defense is that ?  I know it's Boston and they're very good but that was pathetic. Boston must've had over 60 points in the paint tonight, much of it uncontested guys coming off poorly defended pick and rolls. We made Horford look like the best player in the NBA. No surprise that Kyrie goes off because he is a great player but come on  that was just awful defense.

When the going gets tough, just like we saw in the playoffs, Middleton goes soft. He got smoked multiple times.

No way the Bucks give up both Brogdon and Middleton for Jordan.  That's not happening.

I think Henson and Brogdon and someone else make more sense.

It's going to hurt to trade Brogdon. He's the type of guy that puts a contending team over the top. He's the Shane Battier (Heat), Dennis Johnson (Celtics), and Andre Iguodala (Warriors) type guy.
