I'd get Harris a ring under the guise that he was part of the team this year.

Lets not forget Mike Sherman, Bret Favre, Mike McKenzie, Darren Sharper, Warren Sapp, Chris Hovan, Chris Carter, Randy Moss and Rex Ryan.

My only drawback - that I'm gonna order that stupid Sports Illustrated special commemorative issue and be stuck with some god awful auto renewed magazine that covers nothing but the New York Yankees.
Who else is framing the Journal Sentinel, SI and whatever else you can get your hands on?
Kampy left on his own accord. I don't blame him or dislike him, but he had a choice and made it. I think he also made the right choice for him and his family. This was his last big contract and he maximized it and set himself and his family up for life.
Harris obviously didn't want to leave, but was told to do so, and that was earlier this season instead of a year ago. That's a guy I feel bad for.

Maybe a stretch here but its too bad Ahman Green couldn't have lasted till this season then he could have retired a Champion.

Agreed...I wish Harris, Kampman, and Green could get rings. I wonder if there is any way that Harris will get one. He was, after all, on the PUP list for the beginning of the season, so he was technically part of the team. Maybe that makes him eligible?
Even if he did, though, it obviously wouldn't mean as much to him as one that he earned on the field as a player. However, to the extent that he helped develop our young secondary, I consider him a major contributor.

At the same time, if he doesn't get hurt who knows how Tramon Williams works out? You could make a case Williams was their playoff MVP

It's not unprecedented, the Irsay gave one to Edge James when they won it the year after he left. Agree it's not likely, but its possible.

My physical therapist plopped two SB rings in front of me last week - apparently he was the trainer for the Donkeys during their two Superbowls. Freaking WOW!
If the trainer gets a ring... I can't imagine Al doesn't get one.

I remember Al Harris making great plays like when Matt Hasselbeck making the call in the overtime playoff game and stating that "Were going to take the ball and were going to win". Ai Harris then intercepted the ball and to it to the house for a touchdown.
He is also a good fried of Charles Woodson so I see Charles going to bat for him which he should.
He will also go into the Packers Hall of Fame.

Al Harris was on the team as a "PUP" guy until they released him in late Sept or early Oct.
The Packers can give a ring to anyone they want...I think.
