When I saw that our first two games were on the road, I knew it would be a struggle.  However, I thought we would at least split those games.  The defense cost us in both games.  Ryan's schemes are inexplicably bad, which is why Payton was yelling at him on the sidelines.  Plus, Patrick Robinson needs to go.  This is his fifth season and he has steadily regressed every year of his career.  He's usually out of place and can't seem to locate the ball, no matter what.  Even with Drew's Pick-6, we still had a chance.  All we had to do was get one stop on the Browns' 4th & 7 and we would have escaped with a come-from-behind victory, but stupid defensive play got in the way and we're now 0-2.  Our home opener is next week against Minnesota.  This start is not what I expected, but I'm not ready to hit the panic button just yet.  There's still a lot of football to be played.

I, for one, am going to enjoy the hell out of listening to Seattle sports radio this week. I can just hear the excuses: We are every team's superbowl. That's a tough, quality team in their house. No one expects us to go 16-0. It was hot. Despite getting dominated, we almost won...yada yada yada. How come those same excuses don't fly for the teams who lose in Seattle? On those days the Hawks are "the kings of the football world."

Everybody out here wears Hawks jerseys at work on Fridays. Bandwagoners. Where were they ten years ago?

Gonna love the radio this week. And, what the hell, GO BRONCOS next Sunday!!

P.S., good win by the Pack. No need to over analyze. Just take the W and move on.
