Anyone watching this miniseries on HBO? I didn't want to add HBO just for that so will wait until the series comes out on DVD as Band of Brothers did.

I've watched the first two episodes.
So far not as god as Band of Brothers, IMO IMHO JMO but maybe it will get better.

I don't have HBO but saw the first episode on The 101 channel on DirecTV. They often carry HBO programs. Don't know if The 101 is unique to DirecTV.
Yeah, 101 is DirecTV only I think. They just put the first one on there to try to get people to sign up for HBO.

I watched the first two episodes. I agree with FS...not as good as Band of Brothers, but it's still amazing.

I recorded "World War II:In High Definition" from a channel. It was an amazing five episode series and covers some real footage from the Pacific War as well. When you come over here to stay with us and visit Yosemite, we will watch it in the evenings while roasting marshmallows and sipping hot chocolate at my friend's cabin by Yosemite.
