Always thought it resembled more of this:

I don't doubt you think of images like that several times per day.

Your hardon for me is amazing.

I'd be flattered if you weren't so creepy.

It is amazing how much of a complete stooge Goodell is.  This **** makes MLB look good.

Anybody that lessens the impact of stealing signals and having a second radio transmission coaching Brady up to the last second including spotting open receivers is an idiot.

Now it's image/damage control.  Basically saying "the dynasty" and the genius coach is sham just isn't going to happen.  Even if there are other outlets that push the issue the PRopaganda will be in full gear.  So much money based around image of the game.  Goodell's entire regime just gets worse and worse as the guardians of integrity at TMZ shine a black light on it.  What a ****ing POS.

Not exactly Black Sox territory but a sham nonetheless.

A real sports journalist would be able to look into this pretty quickly. If they are taping defensive signals throughout the game, once they get the information in the 1st quarter, they should progressively get better during the game, once they decode the hand signals (assuming they don't already have them). We have sabermetrics for everything in baseball, it should be pretty easy to look at this statistically.

It's sort of like steroids. Obviously, it provided an advantage or they wouldn't have gone to such links to do it.

Unless they were smart enough to use it at key times so as not to kill the golden goose.

even seemingly intelligent fans buy into the genius talk.

Well, when you consider that a lot of sports journalists of late come from the Boston area, it's not terribly surprising. It's very difficult to drop the hometown bias that is so deeply ingrained. If any of us suddenly got a high profile job on SportsCenter, think it'd be easy for you to not have an on-air orgasm over the fake spike?

Furthermore, Boston seems to be taking over the whole media in the past decade. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are high-profile actors, so many great modern comedians have come out of MA like Patrice Oneal (RIP), Bob Kelly, Billy Burr, etc.

I hate every bit about it.
