This was the weekend where everything started to fall in line for GB. First DeSean Jackson runs the punt back as time expired to complete an epic comeback against the Giants and then Detroit wins their first road game in over 3 years against Tampa Bay (with some rediculous catches from Calvin Johnson in the 4th and OT. Those games had a big impact on the final two weeks.

The Packers still needed to win or go home. But if either of those games goes the other way the Packers could have won their final two games and still missed the post season.
Man... it is so cool to relive this... MANY thanks, Boris!

1967 was the greatest year ever for me, sports-wise... Bart Starr, Vince Lombardi, Boyd Dowler, 3 straight world titles. It was magical.

1996 was great... but was pretty much expected. Anything less than a Super Bowl appearance would have been a huge disappointment.

But 2010 was surreal. I'll feel the glow of this one forever. Super Bowl XLV 4th and 5

Thanks for bringing it back!

(By the way... the lovely lady I'm hugging toward the end of the video is Debbie, a veteran of the Ice Bowl. She was actually THERE!)
Not gonna lie. The week leading up to the Championship was tough. Of all the postseason games, this was the one that had me nervous. Division rival, road game, potential for crappy weather that might affect our passing advantage, playing on a field that would offend farm animals.

Was concerned about the Bears creating a few turnovers, strips, blocked field goal attempts. You know, things the Bears do better than most teams at key moments. And then there was Hester. He scared me the most. Masthay's work that day has been well documented already. But his 60 yard bomb with 4 minutes to go when he was standing on his own 15 yard line after a three and out was as big a play as anything that day. Bears had to start around their 20 yard line when they probably expected to be close to midfield.
