They are going to limp into the playoffs as the 8th seed, especially now if Giannis is hobbled for a few weeks with the ankle. They lose in 4 or 5 games to the Raptors and then we'll find out who the next coach will be. They essentially wasted a year (through lackluster coaching and injuries) of Giannis' early prime.

I hope they miss the playoffs. This team is a joke. They need a real coach to get them going.

The bench scored 70... how on God’s green earth do they expect to win a playoff series when their supposed β€œgoing to be” 2nd best player scored 6 f-ing points.

Parker is talented. But how much did the time under Kidd destroy his confidence, and how much have the injuries ruined him? 6 points? He can’t muster more than that? This is the chance to assert yourself- dominate. Attack. Instead? 6 points... great. From the #2 overall pick. Meanwhile Embiid has the Sixers 12 games over and in the 4th seed. Where the Bucks were supposed to be...

Embiid has Simmons with him - Simmons is going to be a top 10 player in the NBA as well.

Parker needs to be star #2 for the Bucks. If he becomes that, then they are set with the complementary players like Bledsoe, Brogdon, and Middleton. If Middleton is your 3rd or 4th best player then you have a really good team. If he's your second best player, it's a recipe to be in NBA purgatory for the rest of Giannis' time on the Bucks. That means a bunch of 6-8 seeds and maybe once in a while getting to the 2nd round of the playoffs, but not beyond that.

The thing the front office has to decide is whether Parker's health is what's held him back or whether he's a Michael Beasley type guy.

Parker is playing with Antetokoumpo... I don’t see the difference. And you can bet if Embiid is playing a night with Simmons, he ups his game. Instead he crawls into a shell and scores 6 friggin points.

I am losing it with this team. Losing faith, losing interest, losing concern. And if **** doesn’t get right quickly, we’ll have yet another HOF player realize the organization isn’t good enough. We’ve been waiting for 40 years for a talent like this kid. It’s embarrassing to me what they’re doing...

When the shots are falling, they look like they can beat anyone. Did their best to piss away a double digit lead but pull off a win over the Spurs. No answer for Aldrich (who has recently?), but Bledsoe was on, Giannis hit 3/4 from 3 and finished with 25, and they got a fairly yeoman’s effort from Henson down the stretch. They defended the 3 point line well today.

But I am not going to get excited about this. Shots are falling. Great. They still give up too many offensive rebounds and they get completely overwhelmed in the paint.

Miami gets beat by Indiana, Washington inexplicably loses to the Knicks... Bucks move up to 7th and are in range to get 6th.

I suppose you don’t want to take on Cleveland- but if you’re going to come of age, ending Lebron’s Cleveland tenure with a first round out would be cool. They have won some lately, but they’re just like the Bucks- inconsistent and enigmatic.

Lebron and Giannis might both average 35+ in that series. Neither team can consistently play defense.
