Verdict is in: NFL liable in Sunday Ticket class action lawsuit; plaintiffs awarded more than $4 billion in damages, to be trebled to over $12B.

My sense is NFL will now appeal to:
1) Judge in case, arguing award excessive
2) Ninth Circuit, and if still losing,
3) Supreme Court.

So how much $$$ are any of you knuckleheads gonna get?? Or is this case going to the Supreme Court before you see one dime??? âĨïļ ð ð
From what I understand the presiding judge may toss the whole thing out, based on how the plaintiffs presented their case. Too lengthy to get into details here. Just say this is not over by a long shot.
All 2.4 million subscribers will get $50 off a DTV Subscription and free HBO for a year . The lawyers get the rest. Just a guess.
I'll take a case of Spotted Cow.

As I said, there will be lawyers...this is far from over. NFL has the money to fight this thing until the end...if nothing more to "protect the Shield."
That's what Sunday Ticket was.

That does bring up an interesting point. In the Facebook settlement, for example, you had to send paperwork, jump through some hoops, etc. for a $4.00 check to get your part of the kitty, which really isn't worth the time it takes, but for every person who didn't/doesn't that's settlement/fine/money they don't really have to pay.
