I can only hope he’s met some Kenny’s along the way.
Toughest book I ever read was “Beautiful Boy” by David Sheff when my son was 10. Spent the last 8 years hoping life just left him alone. Nothing you can really do about kids and growing up.
Life needs a lot more Kenny Moore’s.

I am a jaded reader who reads the news every day, but this story... whoa. A story like this reaffirms that "lost" kids can find themselves given time and persistence. May the world be filled with more Kenny Moores, and may stories like this never lose their power or an audience.
As regards "Beautiful Boy," I started reading it but just could not bring myself to finish. Too close to home with a boy and girl, now teens, at home, and I have seen those lost kids in my classroom... for a time. But, I did see the movie, and while I know that movies never live up to the printed word, that movie was a glimpse of a world I hope my kids never visit. Once someone goes down that rabbit hole...
