In the 2nd half, after Winfield went out, Vikings had no answers for Rodgers. None. He tore through their secondary and they had zero answers to stop him. If that's the secondary we face to open this game, yes I expect the Packers could easily put a 30 spot on them.

Exactly right. You got all these old codger season ticket holders from Green Bay and surrounding areas who view these playoff games as money makers and nothing more.

My mom's exact words to me on the phone yesterday: "But the only reason we even put in for those tickets was to sell them!"

(Did my part: my brother and I are buying them for extended family.)

not a FTFY but another big part of it.

I'm with Grave Digger, the Packer defense HAS to play better. They're not as bad I can't see them allowing more than 23-24 to the Vikings. Meanwhile I see the Packers putting up another 30 on them.

The Packers will have no one to blame except themselves if they lose this game

No. You don't get playoff tickets automatically. You have to claim them and pay for them. If you don't pay, they go to people on the waiting list (Packer fans), then to the front gate (inside the City of Green bay), in that order.

Season ticket holders know what the weather is like in January. That is not what is going on here. They really are that cheap, and that lame. Believe me , it's my own DNA pool I'm talking about here.

Anyway, my cousins are stoked.
Oh so d-bags like Tix Guy can whine about PSAs and how tough it is to be a hoarder and have their d-bag family go to court over the tickets?

Nothing personal towards your family but the ones who make everything a ****ing business when it's supposed to be a past time just gets old. We get enough garbage from the NFL, you would hope fans of the team would have slightly more altruistic intentions even if they do profit from those seats. Good on you for doing your part and selling to Packers fans.

But then I guess you can break everything down to a "capitalist" approach. Like charging for not choking the life out of idiots. The dollar is always more important than society that fosters it.

Agreed. He is due for a stripped ball. I thought it was coming this past Sunday, maybe better in a playoff game.
My mom tried claiming to not know about crowd noise impact. She's like 83.

Pretty sure it is staightened out now in my clan.

I'm willing to bet the Packers have the oldest average age of season ticketholders in the NFL. All the mantra about the decades-long waiting list, etc., it has all backfired. Grandma sits there smacking her gums with the envelope under her rocking chair and a 12 gauge across her lap.

Just kidding, ma. Wink It's my fault for not being there.

I once again got tickets even though I have the Gold Package so at least some ticket holders are doing the right thing.

I think this game has blowout written all over it.

41-20 Green Bay moves on to SF

I think a lot of things will be different.

New at the JS Blog: Adrian Peterson....kick returner? #packers #vikings ---

Apparently AP told reporters he approached the coaches and offered to return kicks on Saturday. Frazier said he's asked before.
I don't see any way they let AP try and return a KO. This is just talk.

But if it does happen....Crosby needs to float one to around the 10-15yd line and let the guy that can't play 3rd downs because he can't catch try and field a kick outdoors in 20 degree temps.
I'm officially an absolute mess regarding this game. My insides feel like they've been twisted and knotted and stapled to my colon. The thought of not advancing at the expense of the Vikings has me consumed. It can't end. It won't end. Training camp, early season adversity, injuries, I've been through too much with this squad this year to have her end Saturday. Losing is not an option.

I hear you with the gut feeling. I live here in Minny land. To lose and have to go to work Monday would be horrible, horrible, horrible. It is going to be their SB, and if they come out on top I'll never hear the end of it. The only way I'll feel good is if we're up 45-0 by halftime.

Stop preaching to people, you little punk. How the hell is he going to keep that gerbil in there without staples? Mad
So far I'm not nervous at all about the game. I feel confident about the outcome going in the Packers favor.Just estastic we have a chance 6 days later, in our stadium to kick to sh*t out of these guys and get some payback. As pointed out when Winfield went out the queens secondary couldn't stop Rodgers. That was without Cobb playing. How are they going to stop him when he finally has all his wideouts and tight ends in this game ? I see Aaron having a big day at Lambeau.
Losing to Minnesota this week would be nothing compared to the disappointment of losing at home in 2007 and last year against the Giants.

Stranger things have happened but if Green Bay plays up to their potential they should win handily. No BS slow start by the offense and no wussy approach toward Peterson. Make those muther****ers pay for last week.

I disagree only because of who the opponent is. Losing to MN would be humiliating from a fan perspective.
Having Cobb back is going to be big difference for AR12 in this game. He had become the go-to guy, and I think in the first half last week, Rodgers was adjusting to his absence. Cobb gets open quicker than the other guys. That's who you are going to look to when the defense is bearing down on you.

Woodson will make a difference, at least psychologically.

Like someone else mentioned, Packers should be a step ahead to start the game, too. Unlike the Pack, the Queenies did some celebrating.
I agree that Cobb has become the go-to guy, but, we have seen that if 12 gets too locked on it's a bad thing.

What I saw this past weekend was the re-imergence of Jennings along with Jordy (why Jordy? that TD pass happens between only a few folks in the NFL).

The question would be this; Can Aaron reasonably decide between all the options and find the best way to win. Add MM3 in there. Add in a running game with what seems to be several productive runners.

Hell.

Add in an OL with questions.

I like, wait, LOVE options. We have a ton. Run the ball effectively (doesn't have to be dominating, just effective). 12 makes the right choices when folks get open.

The Defense shows up.

All this equals a win, maybe an easy one.
