I think the Vikings need to update the trophy case to include the 2013 season.

 

Actually I had no idea until recently the Queens technically won the 1969 NFL  championship, they lost the super bowl but it was a year before the merger. 

 

Still  your greatest accomplishment was 45 years ago and is precluded by the word technically.

 

Great video. I'm uncautiously optimistic. 

And their reward for winning that NFL Title? THIS!

You can't be a real champion if you lose the last game of the season. Oh and the old college all-stars versus the NFL champ games don't count.

Vikings win the Ed Thorp Memorial trophy in 1969 for winning the NFC. Get blown out in the Superb Owl. Then they lose the Ed Thorp in short order. No one knows where it is. 

 

Everything about that franchise is a dumpster fire. Even when they win something they lose the physical evidence it really happened.

I am really excited about this season.  I'm not making any bold predictions, but I like the team this year.  Hopefully, the injury bug will hit another team and we can really see how good this team is. 

Anyone ever noticed that no one rags on the Lions for not winning the SB? They're such a joke of a franchise that it's not even funny to make fun of them for not even coming close. Really it's not even funny to make fun of them at all, it feels like bullying. At least Vikings fans universally have a sh*t talking problem so it's funny to bust their balls and the Bears have at least some history of success. Sums it up pretty well:

They've never been a big rivalry game, at least not for me. I actually loathe them less with Schwantz gone, and when Shu finally melts down and gets traded, let go, dies, I will loathe them even less.

 

I just will never hate them as much as the 'queens or the cokeboys.

I live in the U.P. of Michigan and trust me their fans are just ass douchey as the Bores and Queens
