You must be some kind of masochist.

Having the ref wrongfully dictate the outcome of the Viking game at Lambeau was about as un-fun as it gets. So was watching Crosby’s meltdown against the Lions, and Montgomery throwing the game away  in L.A.

Those 3 very unusual and unfortunate things don’t happen, this would be an entirely different season. Instead, we’re fighting for our post-season lives, in the wretched stink hole which is Minnycrapnpiss, no less.

There’s nothing fun about any of that. In fact it sucks ass.

Guess I don’t get the comparison Pistol?

Badgers and Packers football have been beyond disappointing.  Brewers were fun.  Bucks look dominant.   Badgers and Marquette hoops look promising.

I guess it boils down to whether football rules or not?  Personally, my interest in the NFL has decreased year after year.  I enjoy the Badgers and college football more, but I have a soft spot for hoops.

It is early but this could be a special year for the Bucks.  And agree with Boris.  Check out a game at Fiserv.  It’s spectacular.  Biggest scoreboard I’ve seen. Good seating options.  Went to a game last week with daughter and friend and had a blast.  Have tickets for a couple more games before Xmas and if I play my cards right there might be a few more planned.

The Bucks have added two role players that have been great fits (Lopez and Ilyasova), jettisoned one of the worst defensive players in the league in Jabari Parker. And become a top 5 team in the league. Those two things have helped, but my god what a difference a good coach can make. Even when the Bucks lose, it's at the buzzer most of the time.

I thought the only way the Bucks would make a big leap beyond a 45-50 win team would be for Giannis to be able to shoot the 3. So far, he's 5-45 and they are on pace to win 60. He's throwing up 27-13-6 with no outside shot - and he's shooting 65% from 2. If he can even hit 33% from 3, the Bucks might be the favorite to win the East. Heck, they might still be.

If this continues anywhere near this pace, Budenholzer has to be coach of the year. Bledsoe looks like a completely different player.

Bucks get a win tonight they don’t get a year ago. Ugly, inconsistent game filled with turnovers and missed looks, and some completely incompetent officiating.

Brogdon really kept them at bay with 6 threes, and Giannis with 36-11-8.

Bulls always play Milwaukee tough despite the records.

This team has moxie and they are starting to believe in each other.  MC is right - these are the type of games in the past the Bucks would usually lose.  Now, they expect to win the close games and for the most part they have.

They are basically 1/4 of the way through the season and have played arguably their most difficult slate of games and are 15-6.  Not that I assume they will continue winning at nearly a 70% clip but a top 4 seed and 50+ wins should absolutely be in the discussion.  Heck, if they play .500 the rest of the way that’s 45 wins.

I do think they could use one more guy that can hit the outside shots.  We shall see how active they are leading up to the trade deadline but I expect they will be aggressive.

In those 14 games,  they’ve played at Boston, at Portland, at Golden State, at the LAC, at Denver, and at Charlotte.  They’ve also played Portland, Memphis, Denver, and San Antonio and Sacramento at home.

With the exception of San Antonio and Sacramento the rest of those are playoff teams.  The Spurs and Kings might be by end of season.

They’ve played Chicago twice and Phoenix also during that span and dropped the game against the Suns.  Not good. But the rest of their opponents were pretty damn good and they basically split those games.

The Raptors have a gaudy 18-4 record but their tough schedule is coming up starting tonight against Golden State.   Their next 14 games look really challenging including a West Coast trip.

Fiserve was rocking last night when Middleton hit that shot at the end. Sloppy game, but game atmosphere in the new building is pretty cool (from a basketball standpoint...not a fan of the non-basketball promo/gruber theatrics - ugh).

Refs stole the game? The Bucks gave up 136 points to a Knicks team that was 7-16 coming into tonight. They squeaked out a win against a Chicago team a few nights ago that is now 5-18, and lost to a Suns team that is now 4-18.

It ain’t the refs. This team isn’t handling their business against vastly inferior teams. And I’m sick of seeing Lopez choke. 0-12 from 3 pt range against the Suns-if he hits just one of those, the Bucks win. Tonight, down by two with three secnods left, he misses both charity shots.

Where has this team’s defense gone? Giannis scores 33, grabs 19 boards and dishes out 7 assists. Most nights, that should be enough with even halfway decent showings from the rest of the team. Yet the Bucks allowed New York to hit 20 from 3-pt range, shooting an absurd 59% from behind the arc. Can the Bucks not get a hand up in the face of a shooter?

WTF is going on here?

Middleton only played 19 minutes.   No idea why. Not sure if he was hurt or what.

Did you actually watch the game?  Several calls down the stretch that either went against the Bucks or just were not called including the final possession. In fact the final 3 possessions in OT the refs bailed out the Knicks.

That being said, I will bet 100 bucks the Knicks won’t shoot 60% from 3 in any game the rest of the way.  I would like to say it’s bad defense but they could not miss.

I just saw the game cast. The refs might have helped them at the end, but the Bucks shouldn’t have been in a position like that in the first place. If you beat up a crap team like you’re supposed to, the refs can’t help.

Mudiay should never have been at the line- Connaughton never touched him. The crowd was getting on the refs about good calls going against the Knicks, and they flipped it for them.

The Knicks were making ridiculous shots, too. Mudiay hit 2 leaning pump 3s at 2 critical moments... it was all luck. Sometimes they get lucky- and the Knicks won’t hit 20 3s again the rest of the friggin season.

Giannis needs to shoot confidently. It’s all in his head now. He did a perfect step-back, but then airball at the buzzer? I don’t care about 3s. Just make that shot.

Bledsoe the best Bucks on the floor right now. Giannis struggling to do the things he likes to... needs to counter Griffin’s strength.

Griffin pretty much all their offense right now. He has 22 of Pistons 45 points...

We've got a game!

Raptors had the ball and a 3 point lead following a Middleton TO.

Since then, TWO 3 pointers by Brogdon and Raptors called timeout.  They just made a jump shot.  100-99 Bucks!!!  21s left.

I don’t understand the NBA - the Bucks at home against the Warriors played the same aggressive defense as they did tonight- yet the Warriors got all the calls Friday and the Bucks got them tonight.

They were letting them play tonight- that fits the Bucks style.

Brogdon has elevated his play- he was clutch tonight and has been. But now Middleton has mentally checked out. And in these kinds of close games, you need a closer the other team has to worry about. It isn’t Middleton. It isn’t Giannis, as much as we want it to be. It isn’t Bledsoe. They need a closer.

Brogdon continues to improve his game. Good shooting and defense down the stretch.

Just kills me how bad of a shooter Giannis is. Gotta solve that puzzle.

And then there's Middleton....what's going on?  its like he has mono or something....no quicks, no hops, no aggression.....WTF ? Hopefully not pouting.
