... the Bucks still can’t defend the 3, still can’t rebound, still can’t shoot the 3.

Middleton looks good, Giannis wastes no time getting on track tonight, but the rest of this squad pisses me off. Monroe looks like 2015, Teletovic is the $10M stretch 4 that can’t make a 3, and the Gs are a turnover fest.

I sure hope there’s more to this team than what we’re seeing...

No, that’s not it. But anyone who has watched this team during the Kidd era knows that these issues are long standing issues and when they rear their head again it’s frustrating. They’re still not committed to defense or rebounding. Now they have a top 10 player and he dominates and they still look the same?

Hoping that the commitment to these improvements show up when the real ones start. They have a pretty tough schedule to start the season- 6 of their first 11 games are against title contenders (2 versus Boston, 2 Cleveland, OKC, and the Spurs). If they stumble out of the gate they could be 2-9 and already trying to climb out of a hole.

Still no Maker, so interior D and rebounding may be helped there. Giannis still shaking off the rust.

I want to believe that someone can challenge. Maybe the Cavs- are they better with or without Kyrie? When you have LeBron it does help. If Giannis goes next level (is there a next level?), and all of Parker/Middleton/Maker become legit all-nba All Stars, it’s possible.

Bucks final preseason game against the Pistons.

Giannis not hitting the jumper early, but 3s by Maker, Brown, and Snell.

Really like Brown- he defends, and he’s a pretty solid scorer.

Solid early pressure defense.
