The Packers are 6th in total offense & 5th in total defense. The only other teams in top 10 in both are the Bills & Eagles. Those are based on yards per game, which I always thought was a good indication of talent level. What it doesn't take into account is; turnovers, penalties, special teams, and red zone (offense & defense).

I recall MM saying he divided the season into quarters, and the goal was to win each one.
Going by that, we're off to a good start.

These next two weeks will be stressful for the team. Travel time to/from London, rest/rehab, and preparation for the Jets. The only positive is playing at home vs the Jets.

Injuries (hopefully the lack of) will be critical, as well. It's still another 8 weeks until our bye after the Giants game.

I'd be happy to go 3-1 for the next 4 games.

there are def things to get corrected.  The run d is no good and the OL needs to change.  we get those at least 'looked at' we would be in a real good spot.  Also surprised how little the TE's are used til now, basically blockers...

Playing at Lambeau doesn't seem to mean much, to this team. We should have clobbered the Pats in regulation, instead of going to OT, to win. The first half of the Pats game had some fans booing the Packers. We have to make games played at Lambeau mean something, once again. Playing at Lambeau should be a huge advantage for the Packers. Especially so in the colder months.

The Lambeau crowd is pathetic.   I recall early in the game we had them pinned inside the 5.    The broadcast pans to the crowd expecting to see people going nuts.   Wrong, 80% were sitting in silence.

Well it was a Milwaukee game.

I only have the Bears game to go by so far this year but it was loud as shit for that game. I actually had ringing in my ears after TBSS chant with 2 minutes left. And I didn't mind one bit!

Packers have played nowhere near their best football on offense or defense...and they are 3-1.

The Queens are fortunate not to be 1-3 right now. Packers will get better...Queens will come back down to earth.

From your mouth to Cousins' ear...

I cannot believe I am typing this but I kind of see the Jets game as one that has potential to be the trap game.  Hard fought win against NE, travel to London, and then back home to face them.

I hate to say it but I agree on the Lambeau crowd.  I grew up near GB and I didn't get the chance to see a game there until 3 years ago.  I was kind of blown away how quiet at times the crowd was.  And of course I am wanting to stand up and cheer in big spots and I got the "Sit down!" from some old fart.  For the record I stayed standing up cheering.

No trap games in the NFL. That shit is made up by fans… similar to the “NFL refs want the Packers to lose” garbage.

I’ve been to probably 30 to 40 games at Lambeau. Some are louder than others but the overall vibe I’ve always taken away is that Lambeau isn’t the home field advantage some think it is. Great venue and the mystique is ridiculous… but the crowd is pretty damn mild.

Can't remember which game it was but it was snowing and I hollered " It looks like a snow globe out there" . Next day a newspaper called it " The Snow globe Game " . Anyway the fans were extremely loud , the wave kept going around and round. Even heard someone talking to someone on the phone saying he had never heard the crowd so loud.  All we need to do is you guys get me trips & tickets to the games and I will make it happen !!

There have been "home field advantage" issues with Lambeau going all the way back to the 2011 playoffs vs NYG.  There were tons of Gints fans there, supposedly because fans were more interested in going to/paying for the NFCCG everyone thought they were going to be in.  As someone said, "hubris!".

Two issues with Lambeau.  Lots of football tourists willing to buy available tickets - especially now that there is a whole entertainment complex built around it.  And fans just being spoiled by nearly 30 years of playoff games.  When the Packers were on their climb back to the top in the mid/late 90's, Lambeau was known as one of the loudest stadiums in the league.  Now the HC has to be a cheerleader on game day.

Now show me the difference between win percentage at home vs road.    Straight win% at home only does not show "advantage."

Also, lets define the time range a little.   100 years of data is too broad, thanks.

I believe the crowd at Lambeau lately (try to go to one game every year) seems to hold their passions in reserve and unleashes them when the game is on the line. But then again, that Niner playoff game didn't give them many opportunities, especially late.

I was at the first home playoff game in decades (not counting the strike shortened season) in 1994.  Even at that game I was told "down in front" and "I'll call an usher".  I told the old fart "You call an usher!  If you want to sit down, sit down in front of your TV at home!  This is the playoffs!".  Some of these "fans" think they're at the ballet.
