I voted 11/10 vs the Eagles.
That gives approximately 6 weeks from the injury and a month of healing after the surgery.

I voted Vikings although Thanksgiving wouldn't surprise me either.
During third week of injury, McCarthy says Clay's making progress, may play on Sunday. He doesn't
During fourth week of injury, McCarthy says Clay has a shot to play. He deosn't.
During fifth week of injury, McCarthy speaks only positives of Clay getting back on the field. We all assume he's a shoe-in to play. He doesn't.
During the sixth week of the injury. McCarthy is not as optimistic but says Clay has a shot. They IR him on the Friday before the Giants' game.
Just kidding, he plays the Sunday Nighter at NY.

I didn't select any of those. I think he will be back in Wk 15 of the 2014 season. We have a track record with Sherrod - only I don't the CM injury is as severe.

I'd imagine he's going to have to wear a club when he first comes back, yeah?

And when Perry was coming back from his wrist injury, there were notes from scouts that talked about how important "hands and hand placement" are to OLBs and how good Matthews was in using his to control the OTs.
