The Dodgers have 7 home runs in the series. We have 9 hits.

It's almost like a team with a 320 million dollar payroll and three future first-ballot Hall of Fame everyday players they signed as free agents or traded for to be able to extend is going to beat you more times than not (although Betts is out right now). And Will Smith makes 16.5 million a year.

Brewers are 1-9 against the Dodgers in their last 10 meetings.

In fairness to Milwaukee, they have overachieved this season but it’s just not a good matchup.  Especially our pitchers v their primary hitters.

The good news is the NL Central is absolute garbage and the Brewers still seem very much in control of the division. The bad news is Philly and LAD are clearly the class of the NL and if you end up as a 3 seed or worse you are at a serious disadvantage.

Because Ortiz is on the injured list you nit wit. Who else are you going to play at 3rd? Bauers?  Hoskins?   Yah, that is what I thought. At least try to understand what is going on with the team.

I thought he was getting a good deal of at bats before the Ortiz injury.

Monasterio is the best we have to play third after Ortiz in our entire system?
