From packers.com.  Westbrook is an experienced punt returner.

The Green Bay Packers have signed RB Patrick Taylor to the active roster from the practice squad and signed LB Tim Ward and WR Dede Westbrook to the practice squad. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Tuesday.

Taylor has spent the season on the Packers' practice squad and active roster. He originally joined the Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2020 and has played in 16 regular-season games for Green Bay, including seven this season.

Ward (6-6, 255) is a third-year player out of Old Dominion University that was originally signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He started the only game he played for the Chiefs in his two seasons in Kansas City (2019-20). After being released by the Chiefs following the 2021 training camp, Ward was claimed by the New York Jets. Last season, he played in 11 games for the Jets. For his career, Ward has registered 17 tackles (10 solo), a sack, two passes defensed, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. He will wear No. 57 for the Packers.

Westbrook (6-0, 178) is a sixth-year player out of Oklahoma University that was originally a fourth-round pick (No. 110 overall) of the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2017. He spent four seasons with the Jaguars (2017-20) and one season with the Minnesota Vikings (2021). For his career, Westbrook has played in 55 games with 25 starts, registering 170 receptions for 1,788 yards (10.5 avg.) and nine touchdowns as well as 14 carries for 125 yards (8.9 avg.). He also has returned 69 punts for 644 yards (9.3 avg.) and a TD and 50 fair catches. On kickoffs, Westbrook has averaged 18.0 yards on seven returns. He will wear No. 80 for the Packers.

I haven't seen any updates on Doubs.  The last I read was that he would be back after the week 14 bye.  Anyone hear anything different?

It would be nice to get him back in action, but I know high ankle sprains are tricky.

@zachkruse2:  Packers offensive line is in for a huge test Thursday night. Titans had 6 sacks and 18 QB hits on Russell Wilson last week. Allowing only 3.9 yards per rush this season.

@FieldYates:   The Packers have now designated WR Randall Cobb to return to practice from IR.

They have until Thursday at 4 PM ET to activate Cobb to the roster to play against the Titans.

**Hot Take Alert**

Teams can run on the Titans, as their stats are a bit skewed. Two of there three losses are to teams currently in the top 10 in rush yards/game (GB is 12). Barkley absolutely gashed them and last I checked, Aaron Jones is pretty good too. Of their 6 wins, four teams were in the bottom quarter of the league in rush yards/game.

Tennessee D needs to figure out how to stop Jones and Dillon.

Other than getting blown out by the Bills 41-7 in Week 2, every Titans game has been close.

They lost to the Giants 21-20 and to the Chiefs in OT.

They beat a bunch of lousy teams in close games. Indy twice (19-10 and 24-17), Las Vegas (24-22), Commanders (21-17), Houston (17-10), and the Broncos (17-10).

Unless the Packers allow Henry to beat them singlehandedly, the Titans shouldn't score more than 17-21 points against them.

Short week, playing at home, the Packers should win this one if they don't have careless turnovers and RTFB and go play action off of that.

Cowpies lead the NFL in sacks...we did OK. Best way to negate the pass rush is to RTFB. If we are able to replicate what we did on offense vs Dallas, we are going to have a good shot to win.

Whether or not we do that is another matter...

We played bullyball against the Titans in Lambeau two years ago and beat them pretty soundly, at the time they were the 1 seed in the AFC iirc. One of the MLF-era’s best wins. Think we’ll beat them again.

Wow. If I remember correctly Hill had been knocked in pre-draft assessments for having a bit of entitlement about him.

@ByRyanWood:  #Packers coach Matt LaFleur says releasing Kylin Hill was less about football, more about off field: "Being a member of the Green Bay #Packers is a privilege, and there are standards and expectations that are placed on every team that we expect them to live up to."

Matt LaFleur mentioned how Kylin Hill is in "a loaded room" at running back with Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon, but it's still required to show up to work every day ready to go. As close as he got to providing any details on Hill's release.

@TomSilverstein:   #Packers coach Matt LaFleur said "there are standards on this team we expect them to live up" when describing why they released RB Kylin Hill. He said it was less about football than about being supportive as a backup. "When you don't own your role, this is what happens."

Probably the reason someone of his obvious physical gifts lasted till round 7. To quote my British soccer pals, "I'm not arsed about this in the slightest,"

7th round picks more often than not are like Ty Summers and Kylin Hill than Donald Driver.

What I *am* arsed about is Gurty's annual shit-shoe shuffle he does in the 3rd round...henceforth it will be referred to as "The Turd Round."

Translation ... Hill was being an asshole about not playing and perhaps that wasn't appreciated by the rest of the RB room.

So you're arsed about how he bollixes it up?  Or how his 3rd round picks all go pear-shaped?

Although I didn't think Hill was a malcontent, your take makes sense.
My initial thought was he may have found some kind of trouble around town or something similar, but your opinion plus the quote about (not) being prepared changed my mind.

I do remember an interview with Tonyan and AR this offseason where Tonyan said that if you come into GB with a big ego or put yourself above the team that it doesn't fly there.  Rodgers agreed and said he could think of a few players that didn't stick around because of that.

At the time it felt like they were talking about Z.Smith but my guess is Hill fell into the same mold.

Watched MLF's presser ... pretty much said he really liked Amari as a person ... did not say the same about Hill.

Agree, the difference in tone was stark.  You could tell he was gutted about cutting Amari because he was such a good teammate and did everything the coaches asked of him, but just made too many mistakes.  But the tone on Hill was the exact opposite, for as level headed as MLF is he seemed pretty pissed at him, whatever happened.

Another guy that was mentioned by Micheals today was Cletidus Hunt.   Fell into the same mold as the guys mentioned. Once he got the money he was all done being productive.

First time that I've seen that out of MLF ....and I liked it!!!

Just read the Packers will be wearing their all white uniform vs Titans.   “On Tuesday, the Green Bay Packers released their game program for their Thursday Night Football matchup against the Tennessee Titans, which started the speculation that the team may wear their alternate all-white “color rush” uniforms on Thursday. “

Bullocks!

You're both wrong it's "bollocks."

And in all my years hanging around the dentally challenged (the Brits), I've never heard it used as a verb.

My preferred alternative for testicles is the lesser known Scottish "bawbag."

Love the Scots...they can curse anything out with the speed and precision of a swarm of killer bees. You will have no idea what they've just said, but you will know they mean business.

Brit teeth…I recently read a book on the Stones……The sun and the Moon and The Rolling Stones,  in it both  Keef and and Ron Wood gave an explanation, I don’t know if I buy it but here it is.  During WW2  The Brits were pretty much blockaded and had little food, much less healthy food to eat.  This occurred when most of the British wave guys and the rest of this generation were in their formative years when nutrition is vital to healthy, growing bodies. In their opinion this is why a lot of them in the early to mid sixties looked like gutter snipes and their teeth were bad.

Maybe, maybe not but if you go over there now the general populous, teeth wise looks pretty much like us.

The British are under paid, under sexed and under Eisenhower.

The Yanks are over paid, over sexed and over here.

It’s the only Packer game I’ve ever attended at Lambeau.  And I think he was sitting behind me!  😂

Kind of looks like one of us Packer fans for the past few weeks minus last week.
