Wow that really blows. Their demands were excessive, but that doesn’t mean the Packers should have stolen the site from under him. Pretty shady, I hope the story gets traction and they give the guy something. Bump him to the top of the season ticket waiting list or bring him to one game in a box or something.
Yup that stinks, and hate to hear it. Thought Green Bay had more class then that. Very sad indeed.
I guess you can look at it two ways,
1) the poor company is trying to get work done and the people are slowing it down. Lets honor that the company is doing what is best and let them have the cheap website someone else though of first
2) companies are ****ty and everyone should be defending this young man who is getting ripped off.
I think it is clear, since Microsoft runs on coal, they should just get what they want.
Devil's advocate. If they didn't make such over the top demands they wouldn't have looked like patent/domain trolls making it easy to rule against them. Big corps already have the advantage. I know it's a drop in the bucket for Microsoft and the Packers but "tough guy marine" didn't help the situation.
If they asked for 50K I don't think Microsoft or the Packers would've thought twice about it. If it was me I'd ask for tickets or box seats for some games and be happy with it. What was ****ty was the 3rd party scumbag agency trying to buy it away.
Yes, thinking there’s more to this story. Stepdad may be a tough guy but bad negotiator. Nothing wrong with starting a little high but make it real to show you want to work with them, rather than just looking for the big payday. Still this guy needs to be compensated.
Bull****. Dude should have demanded they trade for Favre in exchange for the name
